"Been living here for 8 years, at first I loved it! Lisa, the manager that used to take care of this place, was the best! She would never let anything not being taken care of, always making sure everything (Patios, pool, gym, playground, parking areas, ect) would be in excellent condition, but now is another story; I see areas and, patios in awful condition, parking filthy, playground looking its worse! The pool so far is the only decent taken care area, Nothing is the same ever since she left. The only person that's really doing a great job is Teo , one of the maintenance guys. When I have plumbing issues, or electrical issues, ANY kind of issues, they can't care less and take care of it practically never, unless it's a healthy hazard, other than that they do not care. Oh! And to top it off they increase rent EVERY year! To the point that one day you'll end up paying $2900 for a one room apartment!! If it wasn't cause my son likes it because it's close to his school and friends I would of left already!! I do not recommend!!! Do not, I repeat: DO NOT come to rent/lease here!! Is not what it used to be! I NOT RECOMMEND!!! I am adding an update, 08 02 2022: awful strong urine smell, that I reported and they took no action. Then roaches!!! And they do not care! Do not rent here!!"
"It was an ok living experience considering the area. Tons of homelessness, drug abusers, car break ins, and unsettling noises at night. But that's not entirely their fault. What is their fault is although we left the apartment in perfect condition, we did not only not receive our security deposit back, but two years after moving out we got a letter from a collections lawyer asking for $90 in addition. From the list of repairs they stated it was the standard re-paint, re-carpet, and cleaning that every apartment complex does no matter what. So yeah. that left a sour taste in my mouth almost two full years after we moved out so I am leaving a review now. That has never happened to me before, I have always received my full deposit back from any other rental unit. In addition, we lived there when everyone else stopped paying rent due to Covid and the pool and gym were shut down but we continued to pay the full rent amount without ever missing a month. In my opinion they owe us money so getting a two year delayed letter from a lawyer for money is just in bad taste. Do better Action Property Management and Monte Verde Apartments."
"I recently had a tour appointment with them I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and no one came to open the gate. I called the number like 20 times and it kept saying that they were busy with other people, left a voicemail and never got a call back. Why set up tour appointments if they are not going to do it. Their leasing office is inside the gates which doesn’t make sense, how are potential new renter going to get in contact if they can not a reached."
"I’ve lived here for 8 years and for the most part the first 5 were pretty good. However, after Lisa left the leasing office things have spiralled pretty badly, complaints are typically answered with a ‘that’s your problem’ and restating company policy of rather than actually trying to help at all. Parking is woeful, they have about half the spaces they need for the amount of apartments here and again just give you a ‘that’s your problem’ attitude when you point that out. They have repeatedly refused to do anything about this situation despite constant complaints and several fairly simple solutions Just had another issue with the lease office who wouldn’t give me or my roommate gate clickers that I paid for, her name was Emma and she had no concern for any of the issues at hand. Wouldn’t even put them in my secure mailbox so we could pick them up. I thought management was going to do something about the declining service here??"
"I lived here for two years and moved out for school. The complex is pretty nice for the price. Lisa the leasing agent/manager is very kind and understanding. They’re pet friendly too!"
