"I was visiting a family member on Twelve31 Apartment complex. Intrigued I requested a tour at the Office and was quickly shown Hospitality. They provided a tour of the entire apartment complex, showed such professionalism, and answered all my questions. Notably, maintenance worker Marco stood out impressed with his ability to articulate and his craftsmanship shows how much he admires to work there. My family member’s have submitted a maintenance request. I have received a prompt response. Overall, I would highly consider this apartment complex within the near future."
"I had some issues that I have been given the opportunity to address. I’m going on my 6th year here and for the most part I enjoy living here. Jake is very friendly and open to discuss my concerns. I feel confident after addressing my concerns with Cassandra and Naomi that upper management will work with tenants to make this place a friendly and safe place to call home."
"Yet another change in management. They've started charging for the open parking which has always been free. Now there's no place for visitors to park. Street parking is full. They're implementing nickle-and-dime fees for every service which should be included with your rent. They can't seem to keep stable office staffing. Latest acquisition is "Jake." He seems determined to alienate their best residents. Stay away from this place!"
"Moved out in June 2023. In the past I have left amazing reviews for this apartment complex and it breaks my heart writing this because I loved my apartment. However, since it switched to new management/leasing companies. I can honestly say that it has been a nightmare. The once beautiful complex has fallen into complete disarray. They had a drain fly problem the last year I lived here (June 2023) I was constantly pouring vinegar/baking soda to get rid of them from the bathroom area. It was so bad that when you went to the laundry room the water was so disgusting it made your clothes smell like they weren't even washed not to mention when you opened your washer you were greeted by a plethora of drain flies. It was so bad I had to send my clothes to be laundered. Every hallway has a fly/mosquito problem not to mention the cockroaches in the summer time. The leasing company does not care if there is trash on the ground it will stay there for a while before being picked up by a resident. The enclosed property is mainly for looks because the local transit population breaks the locks/removes them all together. This has led to many vehicles being damaged or creating theft problems. I moved in May 2020 and found this place beautiful, clean, and safe. Since then I have watched as it has fallen into shambles. The nightmare didn't just end there it continued a month after I moved out. I was on a month to month lease and my contract was up in June. Following the advice of the leasing company I found a new apartment before giving my 30 day notice since I did not renew my contract they said it would be no problem. I moved out on May 14. Turned in my keys may 31 but was told that they would hold me to my 30 day notice regardless of the contract expiring and their previous advice. So I still had to pay utilities and rent for the month of June. I was told that my deposit would be returned within 30 business days (legally they are allowed 21 calendar days according to west Covina). That deposit never came but they called me back and informed me that I also had to pay for the month of July rent and utilities. I told them no and then they said just utilities. Still saying no they then came back telling me I owed them utilities because my account was in the arrears since moving in. I asked why the previous leasing company hadn't informed me about this billing issue in the past but they didn't respond. When pulling out statements from every single month I have lived there showing a zero account balance from their community app billing statement site and detailing that I in fact did not owe them money but had overpaid them. Their response was that their app billing statement wasn't the official document they use so it was inaccurate. When I tried to take them to court a lawyer said it would cost more to pursue this case then to pay them and walk away. So that's what I did I walked away deciding that my time and money were more important spent elsewhere. 3 months later I have finally received my deposit. So if you are thinking about renting from here and Fairmont management is still the owner rent at your own risk. I do not regret living here I'm just hurt by how it ended"
"Resident here since 2016. I've been happily living here since day 1. The apartment itself is modern and cozy place to call home. There are plenty of nearby grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and freeways. Its a convenient location. April and Alyssa, with management, are the coolest, and most helpful. They are a true asset to living here. Maintenance when needed is responsive, and get the job done quickly. An awesome community app is available for maintenance request, community forums, and more. I haven't not experienced what most of the negative reviews state, so don't let them discourage you. Its all rubbish. Its honestly really great here."
