"Our apartment has been very good to us. It's small but nice. They genuinely do a great job maintaining it. A garage comes with apartment at no extra cost--so convenient! They offer Studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms. Additional parking can be hard in the front but theres always a parking open on the side street with a brisk 2-3 minute walk. Everything is paid minus electric which is hard to come by these days. There's a sparkling pool & on site laundry open 24 hours! The complex is pleasantly quiet a majority of the time...occasionally kids in the pool or landscapers but not a lot. The managers are friendly and helpful! Although we personally would like a bigger place as our family grows these apartments have helped us live comfortably while keeping the rent the lowest in our area!"
"We lived here for almost 3 years and it was a very pleasant experience. The building is very quite. The neighbors are very quite and respectful. Smoke free building, everyone steps outside, I never encountered a disrespectful neighbor. Always a pleasant good morning or good afternoon. Parking area is very clean and safe. No late night excessive noise, not even on the weekends. The building on the right can be noisy but they installed new windows that block a lot of the noise out and the sun. The apartment is very clean, with nice fresh paint and white trimming, no rodents or unwanted pest. The apartment and pool area is very tidy and clean. The manager is very present which is very nice because it’s hard to find a good on site manager. Management has very good communication and will notify you with any urgent updates. A new gas station was built at the corner and it brought a little more traffic during night time but we didn’t have any issues… I even left my car windows down couple times in the street parking. Just make sure you don’t park your car more than 3 days without being moved or it will be towed. Overall we had a nice stay here."
"Lived here for over 19 months -- wouldn't recommend The location of Santa Fe Apartments seems cool at first glance. However, the 711 in the corner was robbed and the clerk we all knew was killed. The apt building adjacent to Santa Fe Apartments host a handful of families with too many tenants. The younger men will hang out in the side walk cat call you & any female guests, smoke weed & drink at all hours of the day. They will block the drive way that leads into the back garage, very inconvenient since the apts are located in a busy street. They will also park their vehicles in the parking spaces in front of Santa Fe Apartments & never move — they have spider webs. Parking in that area for guests is terrible let alone if you live with 2+ people. If you park in Flomar Dr, owners will call the cops on you if you do not move your car for 2 days. This happened to us during a 3 day weekend, we received a warning to not park more than 100 yards near the home for 60 days. The Apartment. It seems some of the units have been remodels and others haven’t, you get what you pay for. In my case, I got a pretty basic unit around 600ish square feet with a real bedroom and a very tiny bathroom. The closet space in my unit was decent but the layout was not efficient at all! The closet was on the left side with a regular door (slidding door was needed), bathroom sink directly next to it (in the middle of the room) and the tiny bathroom on the right hand side. You also could not fully open the closet door because the bathroom was directly across. My unit had poop brown colored carpet in the living room and bedroom. Bathroom, kitchen and dining area had matching tan/brown tile. I could live with the basicness of this apartment unit since one of my questions BEFORE anything was “what are your rules for painting the walls?”. Turns out they lie to you and say you can do whatever you want all you have to do is submit a request and they usually approve it. After signing my lease, I submitted a request very quickly to paint my living room and bedroom walls a solid white. It was quickly declined. Living Experience Fast forward 8 months later, apparently my boyfriend was spending too much time in my apartment. The property manager contacted me and twisted my arm into adding him to the lease. I kept asking the manager if adding him to the list would extend or renew my lease. She would not give me a straight answer until weeks later when she said yes. We had no choice at the time and had to sign a new 12 month lease. She then took an additional month for his background check (it doesn’t take that long) and 2 extra weeks to become available for us to sign the lease.. Needless to say the lease date did not start until we signed the actual paperwork which could have been a lot sooner if she would have done her job correctly. During the last 6 months of our stay we had new neighbors in the adjacent unit. It was a family with a child about 2 years old. I understand the complications of having a young toddler in an apartment, my boyfriend and myself tried to be very understanding. However, their daughter would sing at the top of her lungs between midnight and 2am daily. We would hear wall kicks at all hours of the day. We submitted 3 different noise complains but nothing really changed. Moving out/ Security deposit Thankfully we were able to find a new home during strict Covid-19 and were able to leave Santa Fe Apartments. A month later we received an itemized disposition for all the charges. It stated we would not be receiving our $500 security deposit and owed them an additional $120. They were using majority of the money to paint over the entire apartment, clean the apartment and repair wall holes. In addition, they were going to paint the carpet. We accidentally spilled bleach in a few areas while cleaning the windows, instead of replacing the carpet for the new tenant, they were only goin to clean it and paint any of the bleach inconsistencies. That is freaking disgusting, who knows how long that carpet has been there."
