"Pros: -Amenities are dope -Staff is friendly (Doug, Sam and Bosco) -Everything is new -Fully-furnished for those who need that -Residents are both friendly and mind their business -Repairs are addressed quickly -Package and food delivery is easy -Flexible lease length options -Referral bonus is real and this experience is better with a friend if you decide to move in :) Cons: -Staff turnover rate is HIGH. I moved in in September and NO ONE from that staff is still currently employed besides security -Roommate matching is not real. People are placed wherever there is room and basic parameters are met and there is no support on how to equitably divide the common areas that we are charged monthly amenity fees for. -They recently audited the residents and added new charges to correct errors the former staff made. Admittedly, the staff did not have the proper resources and support and were just doing what they had to do to fill these apartments when the building opened. But now the burden of correcting accounting errors made by staff members no longer employed here is being placed on residents. I have paid what my balance says every month and being blind-sided by charges that weren't properly entered by the staff is foul! Further, my lease states a $0 deposit and I still paid it when I moved in despite not being charged and my lease saying the same and they have retroactively charged me in February which has created a balance. I emailed twice with no response and had to go visit in person to get a ledger and some info which was because there is no reason stating why my security deposit says "$0," that I'm still responsible. A contract is a contract no? -This building is ENTIRELY digital and often malfunctions. I can recall at least 5 times since I've moved in (6 months) that the front door system wasn't working and a security guard was on rounds so I had to wait or call a neighbor to let me in. The lag time from the fab unlocking your door is about 5 seconds so don't ever be in danger and need to get in or heaven-forbid have your bladder connect to the wifi before you enter! There is a ringing that's been happening for about a week that sounds like crickets but I'm told is a parking garage malfunction. The Fine Print: -They incentivize reviews in the resident apps so a lot of these reviews were done to win a gift card or some incentive. -They have had about 3-4 thrown together events since I moved in so monthly events is a stretch. I've now met 3 different community managers since September. I even sent a pitch for a year of events that I would be willing to produce and never got a response so that is a promised perk they haven't been able to maintain. They recently did a Valentine's themed movie day 5 days after Valentine's Day for context. -I'm still not sure how I feel about the street food under the bridge but in case you visit on a day it's not there, there are street food vendors on the corner of Apple & Hauser at LEAST 4-5 days per week. Sometimes it creates traffic congestion in a super residential area. -Tandem parking (I don't have a car but it's something to consider that you may not see online) -If you choose "co-ed," they also prioritize couples in those units so you could potentially have more than 5 people in one apartment. Overall, this place is a good IDEA in theory but is an absolute failure in practice. If you live a transient life where you are only in town for a short period perhaps filming or you generally don't spend much time at home or in LA for that matter, this could be a good fit. If you are looking for the advertised community aspects and a well-executed vision, I could not in good conscience recommend this place."

She answered all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole tour as apartment hunting can be so stressful. I truly felt like she cared about my well-being in terms of finding an apartment and unit fit for me. This place is absolutely gorgeous and I LOVED all of the different amenities. You will never have to leave once you live here because this apartment complex already has everything you need!"
