Seaview Apartments

"I don’t ever leave reviews but after leaving Seaview because of work and going to a complete trash complex I didn’t realize how good I had it. Communication with the front office and the maintenance crew were both AMAZING. Have recommended this complex to friends who are just as happy as I was there."

"Rose was strict but she gets the job done which is great for a manager. We lived here for a year pre-pandemic between 2019-2020, rent was slightly higher around $1900 for 2bed/1bath due to proximity to the beach. Master room was good size but the 2nd bedroom was quite small. We had a ground unit which is great for moving, shopping and doggies. We do have one garage space strictly for car storage only. Plenty of street parking and grass is always well maintained. There were a few dumpsters shared between buildings, sometimes they can get full and stinky. Same with laundry, both need key to access which can be annoying but I get it for security as well. The building is old, our unit was newly remodeled. For heat, they use electric to radiate heat from ceiling and hot water uses electric heater as well, so bill can be higher than normal, no A/C. Insulation is not great, you can hear the neighbors and their 5 kids go up the stairs. After moving our furniture out, we discovered dark patches on the master wall, the air is damp here + old building so go figure. Proximity to the port allows you to watch all the ships coming in and goods being unloaded, mostly bananas and cars, but that also bring a lot of trucks in and out on a daily basis. There is an EV charger across the street which was convenient for us. One last thing that annoyed us was inspection of unit during Thanksgiving week. We did a lot of shopping and planned to make a lot of food, but they asked us to tidy up so they can take pictures so we can pass the inspection. Kind of defeating the purpose because after they took pictures we just laid everything back out again to resume cooking. Port Hueneme or Oxnard aren't the safest neighborhood, the complex is not gated and pretty much anyone can walk in and I've seen a lot of shady characters and suspicious activities. Not a lot of lighting on Market St which becomes lovers lane after dark. We enjoyed our time here albeit a short stay - daily walks to the beach and pier, night fishing at the pier was pretty awesome plus a few decent eating spots within walking distance."

"We absolutely loved living there (8years) rose is the greatest,she always made sure things ran smoothly and professionally, always very caring and cheerful, she made sure any maintenance problems got resolved quickly, the apartments are beautiful and well kept, the grounds are very well maintained."

"Best property managers! as iv'e said before Rose and Michelle are the real deal!! They are quick and easy with the paperwork process and really try to get to know you and also let you know about themselves. The property is clean and quiet with great parking. The apartment are nice cleaned and up to date. I would 10 out of 10 recommend to any one i know!! Thank you both so much a great experience! Cheers!!"
