"I have been on hold for over two and a half hours to get a hold of a financial worker in health care… they’re awful at answering their phones ! They need to hire more staff asap!"
"Called at 9:30am only to be told by the main operator the medical/healthcare section doesn't open until 10am and gave me their direct number. Called back at 10 through their confusing automated system and then was on hold for 2HOURS(10-Noon)with the loud Dakota County messages and a halfhearted much quieter "We're sorry for the delay, please continue to hold" intermittently. That's not a delay, that's not getting any service at all. I don't have all day to get my questions answered with a job to get to. They need a callback system like other places have or more workers ASAP."
"The new system is one of the most disorganized ones that I have ever seen. They are now processing renewal forms through Duluth, MN for Dakota Co. So, whenever they enter the data incorrectly or the mail service runs slow they can pull your health care with only a one-day notice. And when you try to get through their phone system which is only available mid-day during peak hours, you end up on hold for two hours, only to be given an email asking you to call back. Meanwhile, they prevent you from receiving any care or medication because your insurance is on hold. The only thing that you can do as a citizen in need is to bypass this new METS system altogether and file through MN Sure and then report the whole thing to the state government's office. Because someone in Dakota County has deliberately set up this new system to discriminate and make it even harder for families in need."
"5 months and still waiting for a call back. Anyone who says service is good is clearly a family member trying to make them look good. How does 24 hr emergency for benefits turn into 5 months and still not assigned to a case worker."
"I dont give one star reviews easily but I was very tempted. This building is a shinning example of government waste. Can you get what you need here quickly with a friendly person? Unfortunately, NO is the answer that I would give. There are countless empty rooms and hallways and an entryway that rivals the highest end hotels. When you do get to the department that you need its the same attitude and treatment as the DMV."
