"A little hard to find and get into but a really unique walking area once you get in. To get in, walk the iron fence until you find an area that was forced open, then squeeze through the opening. Beware of random sketchy people between the rocks."
"The Sunken City in Los Angeles is a hidden gem that unveils a captivating blend of urban decay and nature's resilience. Walking through the remnants of the old neighborhood, now perched on the edge of the cliffs, offers a unique and hauntingly beautiful experience. The artistry of graffiti against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean is mesmerizing. While access is restricted due to safety concerns, the Sunken City remains an offbeat destination that showcases the city's history and the unstoppable force of nature. A must-visit for those seeking an unconventional adventure in LA."
"Great tourist attraction! It was free to enter and explore. The weather was great and ocean view is beautiful. The history is very interesting: Landslide caused former portion of neighborhood to collapse into the ocean. Pieces of the road can be seen with graffiti on it. There is some wild life like squirrels and cats, and you can sometimes see dolphin fins peaking through the ocean surface. WARNING: This is a high place with steep slopes. While it is very manageable to navigate for the average tourist, be careful not to mistep or fall."
"Today we visited the Sunken City, a site of a natural landslide that occurred in 1929 in San Pedro, Los Angeles. It was amazing to see the remains of the houses, streets, and rail tracks that slid into the ocean. The place has a mysterious and eerie vibe, but also a beautiful view of the Pacific. It was like stepping into a lost world that was frozen in time. We had a great time exploring the ruins and taking pictures."
