"Great hiking trails with a mix of paved and unpaved routes. If you have kids the sandy/rocky play area is fun in the summer. Make sure to check out the bee colony in the nature center!"
"I wish we would have checked this place out sooner! Nice hiking options (differing lengths and some fun wooden walking bridges over marshy areas), a permanent orienteering course, nature center with turtles, snakes and other animals as well as taxidermy critters, pelts, books, activities, I could go on! Fun little spots to let your creativity flow or have a picnic lunch. There’s more here for my family to explore and I can’t wait to go back."
"Amazing for any age. Top notch education center. Nature walks. Plenty of trails. Paved trail. Compacted dirt trails some places. Grass trails in others. Peaceful. Different experience each time and always peaceful and new. Great for families. Plenty of Pokémon to catch and goals and gyms to visit."
"Decided to check out the nature center after living here for 13 yrs! We went out to see what kinds of mushrooms/fungi we could find. We only looked in a small area of the park and found several species of fungi! It was fun, but watch out - woodticks are out already! Had a great time scavenger hunting. Will go back and look for more in other areas of the nature center."
"Incredible place! Came with my 4 and 7 year old and my 74 year old mother who struggles with her walking. The nature areas for kids are so simple and atmospheric. Imagination, getting down and dirty, climbing and building, beauty and exploring… it’s wonderful. My boys had a blast . My mother truly enjoyed being there as it was accessible and she loved watching the boys, the birds , the butterflies and all things B I guess;) refreshing and peaceful. Free?!?!? Incredible. Good out houses. Love that dogs are not allowed! Finally a place that keeps them at home( my boy is allergic). I look forward to doing what we can to keep this sort of place for families open.well done."
