"Our family took a walk here and strolled around the historical buildings, after reading that self guided tours were allowed. Shortly afterwards, a worker from the city of Pismo Beach drove up and retraced everywhere we had just walked. It made us feel like we had done something wrong and overall made our experience a negative one. Otherwise it is a very pretty setting- and sheltered from the wind."
"Not much to do here. Very steep roads to get here."
"What a beautiful hidden gem! This park is perfect for a quiet afternoon stroll or picnic. Parking is fabulous, and there are lots of trees and benches to provide comfort. It's tucked away behind a residential neighborhood, but with the view you'd never know it! I even got to see a train come through on the nearby tracks. Absolutely recommend to people wanting a taste of peaceful nature and a lovely historical farmhouse."
"I found this place by chance driving around, while my kiddos were sleeping. We had lunch in the car, and saw a great blue heron, some dogs running around with their owners, and cattle grazing on a hill. Very nice spot. We visited on a Wednesday around noon, and the buildings we're all closed up."
"We visited on a Monday at about 1:30 PM. The buildings were locked tight with no soul in sight. Looks like it might be interesting, though."
