Reviews of Tracy Park Apartments
"Had the worse move out experience of my life. Three managers in under two years with so many issues from mailbox break ins to car break ins to roach infestation. And that’s just to name a few. I am not one to complain but I just can’t begin to explain how unsatisfactory and unprofessional this place is."
"Began renting at this location in 2019 at $1700 now in 2022 we pay at least $2040 each month, and now they want $190 per month. For what? During the pandemic they cut corners, pool got green, the gutters weren't maintained. They cut corners, which likely saved them money, but they STILL increased the rent on us. They actively increased our cost of living during a time when many of their tenants were struggling with unemployment or other issues related to the pandemic..despite CUTTING CORNERS! THANKS A LOT FPI! Most of their tenant's wages are being increased every single year in order to keep up with their constant rent increases! Don't look for any empathy from the office staff though, when I went in there to attempt to negotiate I was met with a giddy officer worker informing me of how exciting the increase in property values, and rents were because it is so "unprecedented". Last I checked there are 12 vacant units, 12 displaced families all so they can maximize their profits at the expense of working class people. How do ya'll sleep at night? Edit: look at their response to me. They ask me to come to the office to discuss my issues with them, as if though I hadn't already done that, only to be blown off. As if they didn't already have me talk to the portfolio manager only to have them refer me to customer experience, who referred me back to the portfolio manager, who referred me to office management who told me there was nothing they can do. This is what you can expect from the managers and from FPI in general. Disingenuous."
"1. Exterior Issues: Constant Gun shots, homless people sleeping on the floor or walking around late at night, no more outside lighting (instead of fixing the broken lights they uprooted and done away with them), 3 broken sprinklers (1 shooting cars, one shooting stairs, the other shooting our 2nd story balcony), car break-ins, mail box break-ins, trash all over grounds (safety & fire hazard), trash dosen't always get collected (although you're paying for it), gutters (fire hazard) need repairs, gutters need to be properly maintained, hall and stair railings (hazard) need to be repaired, spider webs don't get cleaned up, floors (balconies/patios walkways) are stained need to be pressure washed, constantly smells like raid, there's a cute cat colony, but they wont get any of the cats fixed, doggie bags don't get refilled, pool is unkempt, office personnel have direct view of those who workout in the "gym". 2. Interior Issues: (Upon moving in), we noticed: -A giant hole in the ceiling, just about the front door. -All the cabinets were old and disgusting. They were worn, peeling, broken, rusted, water damaged (possible mold), lumpy, and had dead roaches in them, along with white residue. Instead of being replaced or properly repaired, they were painted over with some thick white paint. -All the vents and vertical blinds were disgusting, and had dark residue on them -The fridge, oven, and washing machine were disgusting. The seal on the fridge was broken, shelves were missing, and there was a hair inside. -There was a box of pigeons left in our backyard (balcony), the floor of the balcony was in poor condition, the drain was in a useless position, and didn't drain properly after cleaning the pigeon poop. -There was a giant spider web in the bedroom - All ligh bulbs were filthy, the ones in the bathroom were also rusty - Ceiling fan was filthy -The A/C air smelled terrible -The walls and ceilings were painted terribly. Hairs were painted on the wall and were sticking out, the paint job was terrible, they even left the painted tape on. -The carpet was also not replaced properly and nails poked through -Bathroom medicine cabinets were full of rust -Bottom of the toilet was also rusty 3. Interior Issues: (Surprises After moving in), -Roaches & carpet beetles -Ancient appliance, washer & dryer broke, garbage disposal broke, dishwasher never worked, toilet leaked, bathroom sink leaked, kitchen sink leaked, water heater leaked, only one burner properly worked -False amenity advertisement (no microwave, no locks on bedroom doors Although, the kitchen sink is caving in, and is possibly moldy (health hazard), we didn't get reimbursed for the amount charged during the leaks (which all leaked down to our downstairs neighbor's apartment), and for not being able to use some of the amenities, we are being forced into paying an additional $180 toward the rent and cut our lease into a short term agreement! One of our neighbor's bathroom is caving into their downstairs neighbor's apartment, the other has a similar issue with their kitchen! They can't properly maintain the interiors of the complex yet they want an additional 10% increase! These apartments aren't even worth 1,500 much less 1,900 and the 180 increase for a short term lease!"
"I barely moved in in April and the day i moved it they barely painted the walls and my clothes got full of paint. Their ad says everything is upgraded and state of the art but everything is old and not functioning properly. I have made numerous maintenance requests and was told by the maintenance guy that he is the only one they have fixing things. Definitely need more maintenance people. My power also constantly shorts out in parts of the apartment and most of the time i am left with only cold water due to bad piping, the pipes rattle so loud when i turn the showers on . For the amount of high rent we pay we should get some courtesy as far as maintenance goes , so disappointed."
"As a tenant I've never had a problem with Tracy Park. The apartments in the back are nice and quiet and the staff are professional. The washer and dryer in your own apartment is the best part and makes things super worth. Overall it was a great time"
