Reviews
"2 year resident and don't often take the time to leave reviews but Ive had multiple friendly convos with the staff. Professional and showed effort with concerns. Occasional maintenance issues but this is at any complex"
"What's that saying? A diamond in the rough? That is not this apartment complex. It's more like fecal matter in a dog bin. My experience with this complex began somewhat okay. Some plans fell through, and I needed an apartment as soon as possible. This place had some openings and was relatively affordable; after the fact, I paid a lot more than agreed on in the lease. Instead of 1850, we paid almost 2100. Susy was not so sinister in the beginning. She seemed to be involved in the leasing process and had no issues writing emails. However, as we moved further into our lease, our stay began to move from okay to awful to hell. All of the baseboard and the patio stucco were damaged. In some areas, it looked like they put a newish baseboard over the old baseboard and we could see it through the lock holes. Furthermore, our apartment was dusty and had an odd smell. When I asked Susy what that smell was, she simply replied that it was the "new carpet" smell. The carpet, for one, did not look new, and, for, two, a new carpet smell should not smell that strong. We waited a week to see if the smell would dissipate. It did not. We could not wait any longer, so we had to move in. Ten boxes of baking soda and a ton of vacuuming later, the apartment smelled kind of better. I believe a month or so passed, and the smell still lingered but it was somewhat stronger. At this point, my son, my partner, and I were all somewhat congested. We thought the two were unrelated, but they were not. I decided to check the air filter, and it was caked in black dust. It was disgusting! I sent an email, and I spoke with someone named Kathy. Kathy is one of the office strongmen. As we all know, some tools aren't the sharpest. Kathy asked, "Do you really need to change it? We installed it a couple of months ago." I told her that air filters should be changed monthly if they're used often and that this one was covered in black dust. She said, "ohhh, really? Do you still need one?" Let that daft question ruminate for a moment. I told her yes, and maybe she shouldn't speak about things she knows nothing about. "I will get it to you this afternoon," she said. It did not come for three days. I guess I could have just gone to the store and purchased one, but I was a little naive and figured that the property management would do their job by supplying the "amenities" they mentioned in the lease, but I was wrong. In any event, this was a huge error on Kathy's part because I took off the air filter and looked inside the air vent. Oh my goodness. The inside was disgusting. It looked like someone smoked in the apartment. There was yellow matter around the vent (I will post the picture below) and the inside was broken up and covered in thick black dust. I stuck my head inside of the air vent and the entire shaft looked similar. This was a mistake on my part because my ears felt like something was crawling inside them (probably mold, dust, and god only knows what else), and my nose, throat, and lungs began itching and hurting. I thought this would pass, but it was so bad that I had to contact my doctor for an inhaler. For the record, I had to use it for two months after I moved out. When I mentioned the state of the air conditioner to my doctor, he said, "one does not need to be a doctor to know that that is not healthy or safe." I was diagnosed with reactive airway disease because of this experience. Long story short, I requested to have an independent mold inspector and HVAC inspector come. They denied the HVAC inspector, but I could hire a mold inspector. We did and the results were concerning. When I was at work, Susie slithered up to my unit, lied to my partner, told my partner I gave her permission to enter our unit, and had her maintenance men start cleaning up the filth in the vents. After this, she threatened to enter our unit whenever she pleased and recommended that we break our lease. I accepted her recommendation and left without penalty. Our three months here were hell. Avoid at all costs."
"Was reasonably priced but raised it by the max every year. Had water issue with mold they took care of it but only to the minimum. Had motorcycle stole on property even with camera system. Overall didn’t have a good experience but could just of been bad luck."
"Don't rent here!!! We regret it as soon as we moved in. IT IS NOT SAFE HERE!!!! Staffs are very unfriendly and unkind. They are very pretentious and it is sick to my stomach. If only I can give 0 star!! This apartment complex should have a negative number of any rating. You see police cars and fire trucks in the complex very often. There is always some incident and crime going on in here. DON'T RENT!! NOT SAFE!!"
