Reviews of Central Park Apartments
"Who knew one hasty decision we had to make choosing an apartment amidst Covid in Jan 2021 for school would lead to almost almost 3 years of comfortable and pleasant stay. I am not even exaggerating when I say that. The maintenance throughout my stay here had been top-notch, and taken care of the same day! The fact that they have a messaging service and are very active there is so amazing. The well gated apartment in the area, with swimming pool and a gym, what more can a tenant want? The only issue there was no space for guest parking which again is very understandable and not something that can be easily fixed . But the stay was so pleasant that this fact did not even bother us because there are plenty of parking you can find the next street. They take care of the property so well- they do it in on weekly basis. On top of that, they allow pets with no deposit! How amazing is that? Also the apartment is super quiet, very environment friendly with all the trees around- you’ll see little squirrels everywhere . Honestly, I loved loved the stay here. I stayed there until I graduated . I still would if I didn’t have to move to the east bay for my personal reasons. But to whoever looking for a place to stay in San Jose, go for Central Park! This place is just so amazing and the office staffs are super helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"
"One of the best apartments I have ever lived. They have top notch maintenance, great amenities, and tenant friendly leasing contracts. I have spent 4 wonderful years at Central Park. Highly recommended"
"Final update: got a job in a different city before COVID19 hit and moved out officially on the 11th so I could walk to work. My final impressions are still five stars. The office staff was always so friendly and readily available for any issues I had. Kids were safe to go out and play (before shelter in place). Move out process was fairly simple- 30 day notice as I was already month-to-month and they had offered an inspection visit to help me maximize my security deposit but due to circumstances beyond my or their control, I was unable to. In the end, they did deduct a little, but it was reasonable in my opinion. THANK YOU GUYS FOR 3.5 YRS OF BEING ABLE TO LIVE IN AN APARTMENT I FELT HAPPY AND SAFE IN. Update: 3 years and still happy here. Parking is still rough for guests but the property mangers are always great to me when I need something. I've mainly dealt with Angela but both she and Tiffany have always been friendly and quickly responsive to me. Lots of laundry rooms on premise but you sometimes might need to use one a little farther if a few of your neighbors have loads to do. The gym is decent, pool is lighted, and the newly paved parking lot is nice. There's a package locker room similar to the Amazon package center concept- really helps with convenience of picking them up. Kids still play in the little courtyardish area near my place and I still love that they feel safe enough to do so. Original review: Lived here for 10 months now. Everything I wanted I got so 5 stars. Lots of kids play in the early evening which is great that it's safe enough in this gated community. There was often construction on updating apartments in the day time but I work long hours so I don't know if they still do or not. My apartment is one of the updated ones and I LOVE my stainless steel appliances and my marble countertops. The managers are very nice and responsive as well, when I've had a problem they have come to fix it in a timely manner :) only downside is the guest parking - there isn't any so keep that in mind if you want friends to come over"
"The staff in the leasing office are super rude and unprofessional especially one named Tiffany. I have passed and seen her multiple times yelling at people. She need to act more professional and stop harassing people. The apartments are old and need a lot of repairs, the the staff never care about their tenants and their complaints, and the rent is always raised to unrealistic prices."
"Summary: management and apartments are terrible. The only good thing about this apartment complex is the location which is convenient for grocery shopping and freeways. That, plus the landscaping looks nice. For CONS, where do I begin? 1. the quality of living is extremely poor. -- on a windy day, you can actually see the indoor blinds blow in the wind despite the door and windows being sealed closed. The windows are that bad of quality. -- you cannot open the hall cabinet door more than halfway because they installed a light fixture to block the door. -- the showers are not slanted towards the drain, so you always have old stale water sitting in your shower floor. -- the doors do not fit into their frames, so expect cold winter breezes and blistering summers. -- the carpet is not properly attached to the floor, especially at doorways where the nails stick up and will physically harm you. 2. Central Park company/management does not care if you are happy. -- don't trust the online payment because ours didn't go through. then the office conveniently waited until the cut-off date to let us know so that they could get an extra fee. -- raised the rent as much as is legally allowed despite how terrible the quality of the living standards are...They are even advertising their apartments on Craigslist for a lower cost than what they raised our rent!! That just shows how little they respect you or care if you stay."
