"Worst apartment complex. The management is god awful!!! Vanessa is super uncooperative. The elevator was out of service for at least 3 months. Constant mail theft. My car almost got towed from the covered parking because of some system error from their side. I wish I could give 0 stars honestly. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!!!"
"Worst management ever! We leased the apartment which was posted on the portal and they postponed our move-in date 4 times and eventually the leasing office said they would have to increase the rent on that apartment because they got it renovated. So out of no option, we had to take a smaller apartment of the same plan which had been vacant for more than a month. They used their business tactics so that they could sell a signed lease apartment at a higher price and give us an apartment that has been on the market for more than a month. The leasing office did not make any adjustments/compensation on the rent. All they offered us was an extra parking space which we did not want in the first place. Moreover, the higher management denies to talk to us about the problems (extra storage rent, staying at a friends place for more than a month, renting a U haul twice) we had to face because of their mistakes and they respond to any reviews within a few hours! I regret staying here and booking an apartment here! PS: They do not sign the lease and they just ask the renters to sign the lease which is unfair since they can change your move-in date or any other information just a day before your move-in date). So confirm and make them sign the lease or anyone could be harassed like we were!"
"I recently had a rather tumultuous experience with Epic Apartments, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts and concerns. I had booked an apartment with them, and unfortunately, my 15-day journey has been filled with unexpected challenges. To begin with, the management at Epic Apartments allowed the current resident of the unit I had booked to extend their lease, despite us having already signed the lease agreement for that specific apartment. This created a substantial inconvenience and left me questioning the professionalism of the leasing process. When the management realized their oversight, they attempted to rectify the situation by offering an alternative apartment. However, the options presented did not align with our agreed-upon move-in date. This left us in a bind, as we were left with either accept an accommodation that didn't suit our needs or face further hassle of storage. Communication has been a significant issue throughout this process. Despite our numerous attempts to clarify the situation and request a unit that aligned with our original move-in date, the responses from the management have been vague and unhelpful. It is disappointing to encounter such thing, especially when dealing with new customer living experience, which is starting with this negative attitude from the staff. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise in the rental industry, it is disheartening to witness a lack of accountability and a failure to prioritize the needs of tenants. I believe Epic Apartments needs to reassess their leasing procedures and communication protocols to avoid putting future tenants in similar predicaments. My experience with Epic Apartments has been less than satisfactory. The uncertainty, delays, and lack of clear communication have marred what should have been an exciting move-in process. I hope that my feedback serves as a constructive critique, urging the management to address these issues and improve their services for the benefit of future residents. It feels disheartening that they are did not co-operate, even though they could."
"Today I viewed Epic apartments and went on the virtual tour. Before my tour, I saw the reviews on here that some people mentioned that Epic staff did not provide helpful information & instructions to view and had a bad tour experience in terms of receiving no communication. I have to say that I had the opposite experience. My wife and been touring all the neighboring complexes such as Venue, Verdant, Elan at River Oaks but touring Epic was the best experience from customer service point. Stephanie my point of contact from the leasing office was fantastic. As I parked and got to the call box, I called Stephanie and she answered right away. She stayed on the phone with me to ensure that I made it to apartment and followed instructions properly. She even had another tour coming but she stuck around and met me in person to provide a larger tour of all the amenities and there are a lot of them like the gym, pool, business centers, grill areas, two movie theaters, and etc. But the biggest thing, she actually listened to what our needs are for a unit and gave us insight on what to look for in terms of compatible units opening up. I left the tour really excited and we are hoping to make a move on the upcoming Legend units opening up. Honestly recommend not just going with the reviews and see the community for itself."
"I updated the review because Julia reached out to me and solved my issues. Thanks! I got checked in at around 6 pm on my move in day, due to their lack of time to work on my case. Phone was not reachable, email was not read etc… But fine, I patiently accepted all those. And now, the assigned parking spot has a huge tube above it which other parking spots don’t have. Which is fine with small car, but not ok with my SUV. Every time I open the trunk, the door hits that giant tube. So I reached out to the management asked for a normal parking space which can work for regular cars. They said no. Instead, I can pay $100 to get an additional parking spot. ???? What???The reason is their system cannot switch assigned parking spot. But they do have extra spot for purchase. Very funny system."
