"Lived at GP from 2021-2022 and had a pretty good experience! Probably would've renewed my lease if I didn't move out of town! Pros: -Location! The neighborhood felt safe, and it's an easy drive to most parts of San Jose -The more recently renovated units are nice and clean, with good quality appliances -The leasing office was pretty responsive and easy to work with -The pool is pretty much always open, clean, and not too crowded (although definitely cold!) Cons: -Some of the units are a lot older and grungier- make sure you confirm you are getting an updated one! Also probably best not to be right by the dumpster- it serves the whole complex and is often overflowing -Only one parking space, even for a 3BR apartment. Street parking is a little annoying, esp for guests- but you can usually get something within a couple blocks -Maintenance can be a little spotty- online requests were about 50/50, but any time I called on the phone things got taken care of within a couple days -The walls are thin and sometimes it got quite loud at night, especially on weekends"

"If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. When we moved in, they did not clean, paint, or shampoo the carpet. There were holes in the walls, stuff in the cabinets and the patio was all broken. They would never fix things properly or when you asked. My garbage disposal was "fixed" with a tree branch, it took a month and a half to fix an LED light bulb, and maintenance told me they were going to wait until after I moved to fix my wash machine. When I made a complaint about my neighbors surround sound I was told "hopefully we can get them to respect quiet hours, but they can be as loud as they want during the day". The walls are so thin my daughter would hide when bedroom activities were being done upstairs or they would blast movies all night. They also tried to take most of our deposit. They charged us full price for carpet cleaning saying there was pet odor, although they already charged $170 cleaning fee (I guess this is charged to everyone) and the deposit for says $40+ for pet odor. The apartment itself is nice, but you basically have to clean it yourself when you move in and do your own maintenance. Even when you leave your apartment spotless when moving out, you will be charged a crazy amount."

"After a careful inspection and tour of the actual unit we were planning to rent I was truly disappointed to discover that the tub edges were dirty and needed to be "reglued" along with the ripped/worn out fill in glue on the counters and something similar to cat scratches on the toilet seat cover. The light switch in the bathroom had pink stains of which you could feel the texture upon touch. I saw what appeared to be patches almost everywhere especially around the edges as if the unit was heavily damaged prior to painting. In addition, the bottom kitchen drawer was so stuck that I had to pull it out with two hands. Empty space over the kitchen counter looked odd not to mention there was no microwave installed anywhere as promised and even shown in the virtual tours. One window blind was bent and the window edges were damaged and full of dirt and crushed leaves making it difficult for us to open them. My partner and I struggled for about 5 minutes until we gave up on opening the window completely. The balcony just looks depressing with ZERO maintenance and random patch of dust with no grass nor cement layer. The edges everywhere were poorly painted and that the paint had gone out of the lines. The bathroom edges between floor, wall, and the bath tub were poorly done. We were so shattered to see what it looked like in person and it was just so heart breaking along with the inconvenience of going through to cancel all the services we had planned to have re-established at your location. I am extremely dissatisfied that the virtual tour isn't even remotely close to what we saw in person whether it be size, quality, or basic amenities such as storage compartments behind the bathroom mirror. The bathroom mirror we saw had a simple framed mirror and the disappointment just continued on. I had my deposit refunded because the actual unit did not match the model they had shown and it also did not match the paper description which mentioned the unite to be 860SF while the actual unit was a 730SF.
