"Unfortunately this gorgeous property lacks the fundamental elements necessary to operate on a daily basis without making tenants go out of their way to ‘text’ if they have a question or a concern since you are unable to reach anyone on the phone. If you want to tour with someone you might as well move on to your next option. I moved in a couple of months ago and from the very beginning there were so many gaps in communication simply because you can’t talk to anyone in person (rarely). With the high price tag (paying over $3600/month), I’m told to text the next person if I have a question or concern - absolutely absurd! In addition to this - I have a miniature poodle that I am charged $65/month for in addition to my rent. With this fee you get zero waste receptacles to throw dog droppings away. Be prepared to walk across the street to the BART parking lot to toss the bag or carry it all the way to a trash room or dumpster. Instead everyone leaves the dog droppings which results in stepping in it when trying to do what is expected and pick it up. Nothing better than dog poop on your designer loafers as you are on your way to the office. You cannot expect people to follow rules if the necessary item (trash receptacle) needed to do so are nonexistent. 5421 has so much potential but it appears management is trying to cut operational costs to increase profits. Will see if things improve operationally but just know, there is nothing ‘seamless’ about the process."
"Worst management, the rental manager forgot our mail room key , never mentioned about door access log until I went to the office to ask . Always dog pee on the elevator floor , no noise insulation, u will hear freeway noise/ upstairs footsteps all day . I set up auto rent pay , apartment post utilities on 1st every month , so I pay utilities a few days after it is posted , then I found out later they charge me $110 late fee for not paying utilities bill on the same day as utilities bill post date , this is ridiculous"
"Hello! Honest review and I do, in fact, live at 5421. Pros: absolutely gorgeous, love everything about the inside of our unit, great community areas (pool and courtyard), friendly neighbors, great location, staff is friendly when chatting with them in the office, texting the office staff is simple and easy Cons: all grassy areas smell like dog urine and the hallways and elevators — do in fact — always smell like weed (which might not bother some), dog pee in the elevator almost daily, pool opening was delayed months, garage door hasn’t worked the entirety of our time leasing, office staff has advised people without spots on first floor to park on the second and now people are parking in my assigned spot that costs $100/month, while responsive in person and in text — email responses are dismissive When you’re renting an apartment with a multitude of people from various walks of life, everyone has different way of living and different expectations. There is no way to please everyone, so there is always give and take. Our experience with our personal unit has been incredible, but some of the perks we were willing to pay extra for have been disappointing. Overall, we would look at other places in more depth before moving back in."
"This was my first time renting and the process and experience has been overall above and beyond. We were lucky enough to rent from a newly built Apartment complex with luxury style amenities and competitive pricing. Tia and Tomieyah especially made living here worth it as they were responsive and attentive with anything we needed. They are always bringing their 110% and their hospitality skills are second to none!"
"I recently moved here and although I rarely review anything, I feel I really need to express how happy I've been with my experience at 5421 at Dublin Station. The complex is impressive, but my interactions with both Tia and Tamaya in the office have been even more so. They're friendly, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Dave in maintenance also merits a mention for the same reasons. These people are a real asset to an already amazing place!"
