"Do not move here. I am being harassed by a debt collector stating ABL properties/ Oak Park Apartments did not receive my move-out payment. I have to go through a long process to prove that I in fact did. They will charge you on things and fail to notify you until you hear from a debt collector years later. They also reported to the debt collector I broke my lease agreement when I sent a 30-day notice letter and email. Make sure you have every encounter documented so they don’t try to play you."

"Oak Park will take advantage of you--I have been a good renter to ABL properties both at Almaden House and Oak Park for the last 3 and a half years, always paying my rent on time. I recently fulfilled my most recent lease without breaking it and was never sent a renewal offer to renew. They are now trying to charge me an additional month’s rent beyond the end of my lease agreement. My lease ended in February of 2021 and they are charging me an additional month’s rent plus late fees. They claim you have to give them 30 days notice and pay past the end of the lease. However, they failed to send a renewal for a new lease. As many of us in these difficult times, I simply do not have the money to pay double rent due to Covid-19 financial restraints. The management has been extremely rude and dismissive when I have tried to reason with them. I highly recommend you stay away and avoid the trouble I am now having to deal with."
