"Never move into this apartment complex !100 feet tall tree fell in the parking in the middle of the sunny day. Management is very poor. In addition to being very rude they are negligent. Not to mention that the place is ridiculously expensive for the value it brings. Also, the fee to break the lease is $9000."

"The great part of Living at this complex is the location, residents, and staff. You’re close to Downtown los Gatos and the staff is amazing but that's where the positives end. Car break-ins do happen and there are no cameras.There is a security "patrol" that comes once every few months when a car break-in happens to make it seem like something is being done but its not a 24/7 dedicated guard as one would expect for the amount of rent they charge. Every 3-5 years all the storage lockers will be robbed and emptied by organized thieves. Once again there is zero cameras/security and nothing is done about it. Also the complex is on the Saratoga mountain/Monte Sereno power grid so during the summer the power will go out a multiple times a month and will go out frequently due to storms. This is not disclosed at all so if you work from home keep that in mind."

"Lived there from 2012 to 2015. Would give it 4 stars but the units have no central air conditioning. Hot valley summers mean you have to get out, literally. Amenities in unit are nice."

"I am new to Bay Tree Los Gatos and already so glad I picked this spot to be my new home. The front office team, Betina and Jizel, went above and beyond to help me with the application process and all of the arrangements involved in getting moved in. They were responsive, professional, but also very personable and frankly a lot of fun. Just from my interactions with those two I knew I had made the right choice. My apartment was spotless, move-in ready, and in great shape. The complex is small, quiet and everyone I have seen/met thus far has been relaxed and very neighborly. My impression is that it's a very chill, well-run community. The grounds are kept immaculate. The location is ideal. And no, I did not get paid to leave this message, lol. I am just a thus far very satisfied customer."

"They have absolutely flooded the local classifieds with listings of their apartments, giving the impression that they have market control. They rent old units for monthly premiums. I spoke with them last year and they are not very professional in the way they communicate with their prospective tenants: again, they seem to think they own the market. Don't give your money to Bay Tree, it's not worth what they're asking. I've literally watched rent increase by a factor of nearly 30% in the year that I've lived here, and I know that they haven't updated the units in that time."
