Miramar Apartments

"BEWARE DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! I would give this a 0/5 if I could and that’s being nice. This place is the worst place to live at. I am a current resident and this has been the worst place that I have ever been. First off, the leasing office is nonexistent and they don't answer calls. They are rarely ever there and when they are in office they are in the back with the doors locked. There's so many issues with this place. The parking garage has issues with the pipes so you're either getting water on your car or just having to drive basically under water to get out of the garage. The doors never lock and I had two $1,500 bikes get stolen here. Locks cut and everything and all the leasing office has to say is that "we aren't responsible for any personal property" So good luck leaving your car here since mine was also broken into. Also packages get STOLEN so much! And the managers have nothing to say about it. Why have an Amazon locker when the delivery drivers leave it outside the locker and the “nice neighbors” that live in the apartment steals your package. I have gotten numerous packages stolen from me. You move to a place thinking that it was going to be safe and break ins happen so often. The leasing office is terrible with communication. The apartments are outdated and old. The fire alarms go off at 5:30 am and 6 am every other week for some odd reason. A random person kept opening my door and walking in my apartment for 2 straight months and the leasing office knew when it first started happening but never did anything. The walls are so thin you can hear the person upstairs breathing and talking. The cops were called to my apartment because the neighbor downstairs heard me watching a movie that was slightly a bit too loud for his liking. The gym equipment never gets fixed. A couple of cardio machines in the gym were broken for 3 months and the leasing office knew but refused to do anything.Living here has been the worst experience of my life. If you want to live in a place where the leasing office is nonexistent, and don't ever answer you or fix things, where random people can walk into your apartment, where fire alarms wake you up at 5:30 am every other week, and where your car gets broken into and bikes of other personal property are stolen then live here!"

"I've been livng at Miramar for 4 years now. It has a great view, amazing poor and a very relaxing clubhouse. I only have one complaint which is that the gym machines like the treadmills and eclypse machine keep repeatedly breaking or going out of order. Instead of replacing the machine, Plumbers come to fix them repeatedly which I see as pointless since they'll just break again immediately after. This is a really big concern I have because it can create a huge road block in Miramar residents fitness goals or journeys, especially since the machine are usually broken for over a week and when fixed, usually only takes a couple days or minutes to break or go out of order again. I hope you guys see this review and decide to make a few changes for the well being of the Miramar residents!"

"Had a great experience touring at Miramar. Tiffany did a great job explaining all the perks of living in the community and showed me the breathtaking lagoon views. The pool being open year round is a plus I’ll admit! Definitely considering leasing with them!"

"Lived there for 2 years since start of pandemic. Satisfied in general. Floor plan is great. Entrance , some , has a private path. So you won’t be standing at your door and someone walking pass you. Only issue is on the day of moving out, the staff was giving me hard time, like I was troubling her to return the key. Pool was good when it works. A lot of time it’s too hot (90s) or not heated. The robot is there all the time tangling my feet. At least it’s clean. The loft unit where I lived was great, but not insulated. There is a vent on the wall which can’t closed off. The sky light window is closed by gravity, no latch or lock. When windy it gets blown open. They fixed it by tape. It’s very cold in winter even with those tiny electrical wall heater on. And it will cost you with usage. Airplane noise is something to consider, if one being sensitive. Keep in mind the airplane route changes. Some times it’s quieter. Highway facing unit The view is amazing, but noisy. Be patient and persistent with maintenance guy. Call out bs if given. Especially that main guy. Still they have not acknowledge the unit smell like gas when I moved out. I gave up after a few appointments, just keep windows open most of the time. Did I mention it was cold in winter? c garage exit is a death trap. There is no visibility to see pedestrians on the right when you exit. Cleaning charge is fair after move out. Garbage room is clean."

"Good: 1. Spectacular water view 2. The Latch lock system is pretty nice. 3. Apartment is pretty nice just in general. Bad: 1. Appliances and building materials are pretty old. I filed 5 maintenance request within first month of moving in. Windows are really hard to slide open and close, I have to smash it every time to fully close it. At the time of writing my dishwasher is still broken. 2. This place is right under the final approach of SFO planes, it's also pretty close to highway 92, so you do hear those noise especially outdoor. Indoor is ok, you can still hear them but it's pretty much like white noise after while. --- Update 1 week after posting this review: Dishwasher problem gone! Special thanks to Marko from SOS for figuring out problems with old dishwasher, and replacing with a new one!"
