"Don’t expect to get your deposit back. A few scuff marks on the wall (from normal wear and tear from living) and they will charge you to repaint it (despite them always doing it anyway)."

"Older building/apartments. No A/C in the unit I lived in, but each room had central heating. Good: Lower cost, compared to newer construction. Right next to Safeway for groceries and walking distance to other shops. Fairly responsive property manager (answers emails quickly). Pool is decent and is cleaned regularly. Quiet complex, rarely any noise that you can hear inside. Two parking spaces. Utilities aren’t super expensive. Large closets in the rooms. Bad: Only laundry rooms, no in unit washer/dryers, and sometimes they break. Quarters only, no card. When it gets hot, it gets HOT, buy an A/C unit if you can. Walls are fairly thin, I can hear upstairs neighbor walking around sometimes and the next door unit occasionally. Kitchen is quite small and low number of cabinets. Overall: For the price, it’s good. Not great but fine to live in. I live with roommates and we’re not thrilled but we are content."

"Pros: Apartment is in a good location, close to Starbucks, Safeway, Walmart, Target, Costco, movie theatres, 24 hours fitness and lots of good restaurants. Cons: Apartment is old, no exhaust in the bathroom and we had major mold and plumbing issues, drainage water kept backing out from the kitchen sink and bathtub multiple times. Management is pretty prompt with their response but we always had one issue after another. Also, we were abused with our security deposit and were charged with unreasonable fees at the end of our lease term. We vacated the unit with no damage and no stain on the carpet, yet we were hit with carpet cleaning, painting and other cleaning charges. We were not only deprived of our security deposit but also hit with a $250 bill for cleaning charges. I don't understand why the residents have to pay for cleaning and painting the apartment just so the management can make it look pretty for the next residents. Message to management: Why call it a "Security Deposit" if you know you are going to charge your residents regardless of damages to the unit, just call it a "non refundable fee" for choosing to stay at your residence. I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends."
