"To be honest these apartments are overpriced and disgusting. They look nothing like the photos. You can tell they freshly painted over everything. The kitchen cabinets are damaged, the bathroom cabinets are damaged. There is mold on/in the bathroom fan and in the bathtub as well. There is also mold all around both of the sinks. You can tell they painted over the bathtubs. My 2 year old son takes baths daily so all the new paint is peeling and you can now see the real tub. Under the paint it looks stained and very gross, also rusty. There is toxic mold all around the bathtub as well. We’ve been having a fly problem and I couldn’t figure out why until I seen they were coming out of the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. The bedrooms are kind of small, there is no air flow you will wake up congested every morning. My 2 year old son is asthmatic so the mold combined with lack of air flow gives him asthma attacks almost everyday/Night. Also right when we moved in there was problems from the jump. The door knobs fell off, a cabinet door broke off and the balcony door handle broke as well, the carpet is poorly laid down. My son loves to run around and tripped and fell on a nail poking out of carpet and messed his hand up. The carpets also reek of cat or dog urine, I don’t have a animals and my son and I are allergic to cats so we’ve been having a hard time with that as well. The dishwasher also leaks and smells so gross. If you end up renting here definitely do a tour and inspect thoroughly. I’ve been living here for a little over a month and completely regret it. I pay $2,000 a month and this place is just gross. They completely ripped me off. This place honestly reminds me of a cheap motel. If you like this kind of vibe for $2,000+ a month rent here!"
"Office staffer Darla was very nice, helpful, polite, friendly, and experienced with rental knowledge. Darla was also patient and professional while giving me a tour, I truly appreciate it and recommend her in the near future to others."
"My boyfriend and I came to tour this apartment and the leasing specialist Darla was super sweet and informative she made sure to answer any questions we had and even went out of her way to take us to several different units to insure we chose the right one for us. Having toured many apartments this has by far been our best experience. Thank you again Darla!"
"Overpriced, disgusting apartments. Hiked up the rent right after moving in and have raised it a couple times since then. They “fix” the place up just enough for you not to notice but for it to break while living there so they can take it out of your deposit. Their chemical-filled sprinkler system caused $400 worth of damage to my car’s paint. Mailbox has been broken into and they refuse to hire security or install cameras. If you get lucky, you won’t have hellish neighbors. Walls are paper thin and insulation is nonexistent. You can feel cold air coming through the windows. The only real benefit is that there’s a carport and lots of guest parking which is safe."
"UPDATE: I just renewed my lease for another year, and I am looking forward to another year of living here at Bay Village Apartments. The management team continues to be professional and personable, and very responsive when maintenance work is needed. I have made friends with my neighbors above and next to me and created a little community. And the best part, waking up to the gorgeous view with boats and ships passing by every day.....Bay Village really is a hidden gem! …................... I am waking up from my first night at Bay Village Apartments, and happy does not even start to cover it. Up until this point it has been a very pleasant experience. Mary contacted me immediately after my inquiry, and ensure that she answered all my questions thoroughly. She was is very helpful and personable; one of the reasons I decided on this place. The application and rental process is very straight forward. The complex is beautiful, and the view I get from my balcony is breathtaking. Thank you Mary and staff for such a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to a wonderful time here! :-)"
