The Tides

"Updating this review because of the terrible treatment I received from Bell Partners, who recently took over management at The Tides. I lived here for 3 years, most of which were incredibly peaceful. When Bell Partners took over in 2023, they fired Ken, the only maintenance person who actually fixed any issues in my apartment. (The other maintenace person generally just comes into the apartment and looks around before telling you there's nothing he can do to fix even basic issues like leaking sinks or a screeching dryer.) During my last two months, I had an infestation of some kind of flies (I still don't know what they are) that were EVERYWHERE in my apartment. I couldn't even cook in the kitchen without them getting into the food; that's how many there were. Just sitting on my couch, they would crawl all over me, including on my face. I took photos and showed them the insect traps that were FULL after 24 hours of use. The Tides not only refused to address the problem, but the community manager Anna accused me of lying about the Orkin inspection. (She called the inspector and put him on speakerphone while I was in the office, thinking he would back her up. When he confirmed that there was indeed an infestation in my apartment, she hung up on him.) I was never reimbursed for the rent I paid to live in an uninhabitable apartment, and they even made me pay an extra month of rent after confirming the infestation. Bell Partners then took my entire security deposit for "professional cleaning," which Greystar (the previous management company) specifically told me I would not have to pay for whenever I moved out. Please avoid this complex if you value your peace of mind and hard-earned money. ### Updating because Ken came to fix my light fixture today and went above and beyond! He fixed an issue I didn’t even know was in my bedroom. I have lived here for almost 2 years, and this complex is very nice. Whenever I need something fixed, maintenance does it quickly and Ken is really nice and helpful. I feel safe here."

"Very maintained and employees on site are very helpful and friendly! I been living here for a couple months now and has had no issues regarding my apartment. Very modernized, has valet garbage service 5 days out the week, no bugs or rude tenants as far as I’ve been there! & Rebecca the lady that helped us thru the whole process made it much easier for us during our moving in process! I would recommend this place if your looking for a nice affordable place to live!"

"I moved in about a week ago. The process was seamless! Paul (assistant manager) was very thorough with the information provided. The application and approval process was quick and easy. Paul happily answered all of my questions and my initial maintenance request was fulfilled within a hour. The complex is quiet and clean. Highly recommend the Tides if you’re looking for a luxury apartment"
