"Thank you for your assistance!"
"UPDATE; Putting a bait station on my kitchen counter is NOT addressing or fixing the problem. 4 months with cockroach infestationwith bugs crawling out of every crack in the walls as well as the vents. 4 months with nobody addressing the pile of termite poop in the windowsill. 4 months and the walls are still unpainted with large unsanded patched holes. This is a SLUM and Winn Companies is a SLUMLORD company. The grounds are filthy and unsafe. The apartments are unclean due to german cockroaches. Calling this place "luxury" is a complete lie. There is nothing that could be considered luxury about this hellscape!!!!!!!!! Actually negative 5 stars!!!! This has been one of the absolute horrors in my 53 years of life!!!! COCKROACH INFESTATION, TERMITE INFESTATION!!!!!!!!! If you were to look up the meaning of slum in the encyclopedia, you would get a picture of The Meridian.. From the day we moved into this $3650 a month "newly renovated, luxury waterfront" apartment it has been a nightmare. My husband took a job in San Rafael comong from Palm Springs so we only saw pictures that the property manager sent us. It looked pretty, but so does lipstick on a pig.. For the first 3 weeks there was no hot water. The termites were reported almost instantly as they are coming out of the window sill, it has gone unaddressed. Then cockroaches started to appear, reported instantly as they are running around in broad daylight in every room. They are coming from the unit next door. I'm guessing that most of the units have a problem. Nothing done, 3+ weeks into sleeping with the lights on, not being able to cook because I don't want to bake roaches into my lasagna, extreme anxiety, a rash and breathing problems. Complained again, filed a complaint with the city, and they hit us with a 3 day pay or quit notice for funds that aren't reflected on my online payment portal as being owed. It says I paid the amount asked for and balance is zero on the due date. Now we've had to hire an attorney to get our money back and our ruined property replaced. The minor things are a 3/4 inch gap under the door for the vermin and insects to enter, electrical outlets that don't work, patched unpainted holes, unsanded walls with chunks of stucco in the bathtub, some walls just have primer and no paint. Oh, the holes in the floor that just has vinyl flooring over it but you still sink in. If you can afford $3200-3700 a month, then this place is not for you. Live anywhere else in San Rafael but here!!!!!!!!! This is a picture perfect uninhabitable living conditions example.
