"At first this place wasn’t so bad especially for the price during covid. After a while we noticed that the leasing manager Melissa was really unresponsive when it had to do with anything besides when we were signing the rental lease. Maintenance took forever to get anything fixed. They would also just show up whenever they felt like it without any notice. Over a before we moved out we were unable to use our washing machine. We were told we could not use our washing machine because it was leaking into the garage underneath. The water ruined the neighbors belongings and black mold was found in the garage. The washing machine repair guys came and locked our machine so we could not use it and we did not get a replacement before we moved out. We had a new born baby and SO MUCH LAUNDRY! We had to lug the laundry to the laundry mat every few days, in the rain, over the winter holidays. It was absolutely terrible. We did not get an apology or any help with the situation. When deciding if we were going to move out Melissa was unresponsive! She did not send us a lease renewal contract, did not respond to our emails and calls about how to put in our notice or move forward with resigning, and would not get back to us about the washing machine. We finally just were fed up and sent her a email saying we wanted to move out. She then said our lease was rolling over to month to month and that we owed money even though we had been trying to get ahold of her. She then charged us $500 to take off a small sheet of sticker wallpaper in a small section of the closet as well as the month to month rate. We felt like Melissa was just trying to charge us for everything so they didn’t have to give us our deposit back or reimburse us for the laundry being out for over a month. The positive of this complex was our neighbors."
