"Brought my mother for an appt., complained to receptionist on multiple messages left on multiple days to Dr. Melanie Sheppard's nurse for a concern regarding mom's health and didn't receive a single call back. Another patient in the waiting room voiced he had the same problem. I ask for an interpreter, but was told none was available. Mom is 87 and monoligual in Spanish. I had with me my adult son with developmental disabilities and was asked to step outside with him due to Covid safety concerns despite us both having masks on and being the only ones in the empty waiting room. As I was arguing he couldn't be unattended outside while I was in exam room with mom, I was called into exam room by technician. As I was assisting mom getting undressed for her echo, the male manager barged in and said I had to get out, that he was bringing in an interpreter though one had been denied earlier and my poor mother was completely nude from waist up. He completely violated her privacy. Blunt reprisal because I complained at the beginning about the lack of response or phone answering when calling the office. Already shopping around for a new physician for her."
"My fiancee USED to be a patient here but after months of subpar service and constant lies, it was time to go. This office was both his pain management and his primary care doctor. My fiancee has been and is still waiting over a month to get his blood pressure medication approved and we keep getting lied to by the office personnel. All they have to do is call and give the authorization but we keep getting the run around. Nelly and Janice/Janet aren't very clear on what customer service is because if someone has to constantly call, leave messages, AND come in to the office to request them to please call about the medication and it still doesn't get done, something is wrong. Then, to add insult to injury, they waited 8 months to inform him of some inconclusive tests that prevented him from getting his pain medication on time...much like almost the past year that he has been a patient there. Dr. Lajavardi has taken a vacation twice this year without prior knowledge so, at least once we were rushed so that he could get a head start on getting to the slopes. Again, we had an issue and this man was unavailable for medication authorization and didn't have anyone covering him for emergencies or patient questions! His own staff couldnt get in touch with him and he supposedly owns the business. Who leaves on vacation, out of the country and doesn't leave a second in command or doesn't leave a number that can reach him? That's unsatisfactory and dangerous when you have a patient that depends on high blood pressure medication AND they are aware that his pressure fluctuates. This clinic needs to go and get not only sensitivity training but also learn about patient centered care. I do not and would not recommend anyone go to this clinic unless you are ready to follow their sorry ass medication rules. You want pain meds easy...go here. You want to be cared for and treated with respect...don't go but RUN to another doctor's office....we certainly are."
"I have been here for myself and my son. I had Dr. Lockie for a severe back problem I was having and they were prompt and helpful when I needed to go to the emergency room as it kept getting aggravated by the minute. I can't imagine what would have happened if it would have happened at work. They made me feel like they would take care of me. My son has seen Dr. Lajvardi and his PA have always been so attentive when I have brought in my son for anything, and even introduced me to some preventive services in the community for children. Which I am very thankful for. As well as the short wait time."
