"WARNING FOR ALL RESIDENTS & FUTURE RESIDENTS: There are two aggressive pit bulls owned by a resident in this complex. We were attacked by these dogs last night in the complex. We opened a door from the garage to the dog park/dog run and they charged at us. One resident and two dogs were bitten by these aggressive pit bulls. No people or dogs were visible, the pitbulls heard the sound of the door and attacked. If you are resident here, BE CAREFUL. The owners of the dogs did not take responsibility for the incident and ran away when we asked for their unit number to file a complaint with animal control. The leasing office is aware of the unit and reports to animal control have been made. - Leasing team: Despite the residents who live here, the leasing office at Station 16 and property managers work to address issues. Cheyanne and the maintenance team are amazing. - Safety: The complex is very well maintained and is very safe considering it is attached to Bart/Caltrain. - Amenities: Standard amenities (dog park, bike room, package lockers/mail room, dog grooming station, fitness room, clubhouse, BBQ, fire pits, pool). There are weekly paid services provided by Jingle. I wish there were free resident events like other luxury complexes in the area though! Commuter benefits available if you use Bart/Caltrain for work. - Parking: Parking in the stacker is pretty meh. Our car parking spot is always out of order and we have had to use Uber to get around, which is only refunded as credit towards rent… The stacker adds about 10-15 minutes to your commute. Only 1 car can park here. - Noise: Noise is a non-issue if you are not facing Caltrain or Bart. We cannot hear the trains at all and are facing a busy streets - Residents: Some really nice people here, but also really inconsiderate people too. People don’t pick up after their dogs and leave trash on the floors or in elevators. Station16 always cleans it up, but sometimes it sits there on the weekends. The walls are thin and residents can be noisy though, some neighbors on the 6th floor like to blast music until 2am/yell/sing."
"We have been living here for more than 8 months now and this place does not live up to the price we pay for our apartments. The leasing office, is “nice” but they are quite passive aggressive whenever we have raised an issue. The building acts urgently on its own priorities, but is quite lax about resident needs. E.g, extremely long time to get mail packages, elevator out of service for long periods of time, the elevator near our apartment makes unsafe dangerous noise when operating, windows not cleaned once since we moved in. Our day to day is just fine here, but all these experiences have made us look forward to our lease end date."
"We've been living here for nearly six months. The staff is genuinely nice and always willing to assist in any way they can. However, being a new building, several issues are still unresolved. We had to wait for months for the mailroom and nearby elevator and trash room to start working. What's bothersome is that despite the high cost of living here, there hasn't been any effort to schedule a simple exterior window cleaning service. The windows in our apartment have yet to be cleaned, and it's not something we can do ourselves. I mean, we've been waiting for six months and they have no idea when they will be scheduling a cleaning service!"
"Really bad experience with this place. I put 2, $700 deposits down, to try to acquire a place here. When it didn’t work out, which is fine. They said they would refund my money. I haven’t received either refund which totals $1400. First deposit was made 8/1. When that apartment ended up getting rented by some one else, they found another apartment for me, which I put ANOTHER $700 deposit down on 8/16. Still have no communication on when my $1400 refund will come… Beautiful place but really bad business …"
"Update on 6/14: I recently moved into this apartment, but there are a couple of issues that need to be addressed. If you're considering signing a lease here, it's important to be aware of these concerns. Firstly, the mailroom is currently unavailable, and all packages are stored in the leasing office. The residents have to pick up their packages during the office's working hours. My roommate and I who work onsite have to wait until the weekends to retrieve our packages, which can be quite frustrating. Another issue is the payment system. We want to pay by e-check through the online payment system. However, the system still charges a convenience fee for e-checking payments. We are forced to pay our rent using physical checks, which is not only time-consuming but also inconvenient for all residents Additionally, it is important to check the unit video for the exact apartment you are interested in before signing the lease. In our case, the floorplan indicated that our room would have a balcony, but there was no balcony at all actually. Despite taking the precaution of watching the unit video beforehand, we still felt misled. The management team should exercise greater attention and accuracy in their representations In conclusion, I remain hopeful that these issues will be addressed in the future, and I look forward to a more positive living experience in this apartment complex. ---------- On 5/9 I toured this apartment last Wednesday and was impressed with the amenities and location. However, my experience with the leasing office since then has been frustrating and disappointing. The day after my tour, I noticed there were more available 2-bedroom units on the website and requested videos to show the new units via email. Despite following up with calls on Friday and Saturday, I did not receive a response until my roommate called earlier today. The representative said they were too busy to get the videos, even though they had acknowledged our requirements earlier. As a prospective tenant, I find it concerning that the leasing office cannot accommodate basic requests or follow-up in a timely manner. I cannot imagine what it would be like if I signed the lease and needed resident services. The lack of communication and responsiveness from the leasing team leaves me feeling uncertain and neglected. In contrast, I currently live in Santa Clara Square (also a luxury aparment in the south bay), which have had a much more positive experience with the leasing team. It's disappointing that the same level of professionalism and customer service is not present at this new apartment. Overall, while the apartment itself may be worth considering, I would caution prospective tenants to carefully evaluate the leasing office's ability to meet their needs and expectations. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service in the future."
