"This is the worst managed apartment complex I have lived in. Overpriced, it took about a month to fix the elevator. Other tenants say this is an annual break. Management said they needed a part; the repairman said it needed oil. Regardless, it is over the inspection date by about 6 months. Management purposely and routinely trashes my car. And other people's cars in the garage. Literally. Garbage, landscape trash and dirt and thrown on your car. I've told them to stop but they say not trashing my car is somehow special! And they have no intention of stopping. You will need to look for a lawyer. They price gouge on utilities. You can buy a new car or live here. My group utility has ranged from 200 to 600 a month. I'm one person. My person PGE is about 50 bucks. There is no heat in the building or air con. California law is that they have to show you the actual utility bill. They refuse. They also lied to me and told me that my apartment did not have a gas meter so I had to be part of the group utility bill. It does have a meter. Again, you will need a lawyer. Add a complaint to the Attorney General's office. Price gouging is a crime. When it rains, car is trashed and the flood comes. About half an inch to 3/4 of an inch of water all around the car - with water also draining into the elevator shaft. (any wonder about elevator problems?). So try getting your groceries in and out of the car. And those nice dress shoes? Then the water evaporates and you are left with salt, blowing up into the engine and interior of your car. Electrical issues are difficult to diagnose and expensive to repair. Again, your car will be damaged. Washer and dryer are mini and do a horrible job. For months I was told my washer was fine, I just needed to run the "eco" washer - for hours. If a washer uses have the electrify but has to run four times as long, you are using twice the electricity. Worst - it does a horrible job. They finally replaced the bad washer with the worst rated washer on Consumer Reports. It has an F rating. What kind of management purposely chooses horrible products? Skyline Terrace Management. Even on Home Depot, horrible ratings. Getting packages is a jumble search. Some folk run businesses and order loads of stuff. Almost every day the Luxor lockers are overflowing. And when the odd package actually gets in, then you have to go on a search in the closet sized locker - maybe yours is in there with 25 other packages. Or maybe it is just left out on the benches. They could add more lockers - but they don't. Most of the time doors are wide open so .... Supposed to be security and doors closed. I'm closing them all the time. Come at about 11 at night esp. on a Thursday to experience jet noise. Occasionally, the airport opens the east/west runway and that puts us right below. The colder the night, the louder the noise. Management does not respond to most emails. You see a response here, but that is only because it's public. I'm ready to flee. Harassed and vandalized out. There is high turn over."
"This review is of my move-in experience at Skyline Terrace on 10/23. I was greeted by Luis who showed me to my new unit. The original unit was not to my satisfaction, and Luis took the time to ensure that i was able to lease a space more suitable and to my liking. He was empathetic to the fact that i had just flown in from the east coast and worked diligently with Sherwin to rectify the situation. Once my new space was solidified, Luis personally helped to move furniture items that had been ordered prior to my arrival, and placed in the former unit. He helped to move large furniture items as well as helped with my luggage. Luis stayed well beyond his normal work day to ensure that i was not only happy, but also comfortable in my new home. I remain grateful for his efforts in ensuring that i was provided with a unit to my liking and that my transition from the east coast could be as smooth as possible."
"We have lived for one year at Skyline Terrace. The apartments are spacious and full of natural light. The apartment grounds and amenities are updated regularly. Most importantly, the apartment manager, Luis, is incredible. Luis goes the extra mile every day to make sure that the residents are happy and feel at home. Luis is the best apartment manager we have ever encountered. His friendliness, diligence, and dedication to his job create a great sense of community among the residents at Skyline Terrace."
"We just moved to California from Boston and into an apartment at Skyline Terrace and feel very welcome here. Lots of friendly people coming from various places and open to making new friends. The leasing staff here, Murray and Luis, are very friendly, helpful and accommodating and really make it feel like a community. Murray and Luis organized a social event for residents- BBQ by the pool- and we got to meet many residents. It is a very pet friendly community. The enclosed Dog Park here on the property is a great amenity and I can't wait for our dog to fly east to come live with us and I'm sure we will meet even more residents at that park through the dogs. There is a mix of residents here- young and old- local Californians and people from outside the state moving here which is a nice mix."
"Murray and the team at Skyline Terrace have been overwhelmingly helpful, from the moment I first toured the property. The rental process was painless (I think it literally took just a couple hours to get everything set up). Murray worked with my mover to ensure an easy move-in and he and Alfredo, the maintenance supervisor, were extremely responsive in resolving a couple of minor issues that I noticed after move-in. (And I am thrilled with the views from all of the main rooms.) I'm looking forward to calling Skyline Terrace home."
