"Tried to call about status of a prescription and was met with a really rude and condescending individual. Was also just not helpful and talked to me like I was an idiot. Ugh, will definitely just be using Raley’s next time."
"HIPAA violation at its finest here! There’s no real system at this location for pickup prescriptions. I suggest using the drive up instead of walking in, the workers will help the drive up first no matter how long you’ve been standing in line. They also call up multiple customers and expect you yell out your personal information, then the workers get offended if you ask them to look at your ID or Rx info on your phone and not blurt out your personal info and then give you attitude when you tell them that its inappropriate for you them to ask you to disclose your info. I just don’t understand why they make it seem like the customer is wrong for wanting to keep their personal MEDICAL information private and not apologize for not creating a better experience!"
"Worst pharmacy ever. "Systems" are always down, getting medications wrong or unavailable. Told now on two separate occasions to go to another Walgreens. Don't use this pharmacy. Ever. Unless you got a few hours of your life to waste."
"Avoid by all means, unless you happen to love waiting in lines and terrible service quality. I'm not sure what has happened to this pharmacy over the last couple years, but as patient/customer for over a decade, I'm going to move my family's prescriptions elsewhere. Rx are NEVER ready on time, and delays seem to occur nearly 100% of the time. But by far the worst part of this pharmacy is the service and wait times. The staff is generally cordial enough, but they seem horribly slow, disorganized, and/or understaffed. It's been getting worse since before covid, and across many different employees. Seems to be an issue at the top and not with specific service/tech individuals in the pharmacy (and have to imagine the staff wishes they had more help). Have tried to give them time to improve because it's a conveniently walkable location for me, but it's only getting worse. I'll be driving somewhere else next month, I've simply lost my patience with the poor service and the frustration it causes. Avoid this place."
"Walgreens was the pharmacy of choice for me when I lived in the bay area, but now moving to Sac there is an immense drop in quality. I have been getting emails for 2 weeks saying an auto-refill is in progress, but when I went into the store to find out what was going on, they tell me that I need a new prescription from my doctor and it wouldn't be filled. WHY DID I NOT GET NOTIFIED?!?!? Why did it take me going down there to be notified I need to ask my doctor? I know this alert exists in their auto-refill system because I have received it before. This is the second big screw up. The last one was waiting an hour to be told my meds would be 100% ready tomorrow, only to return the next day and wait yet another hour because they were not in fact ready. (I waited the extra day because I wasn't in desperate need and they already had multiple people waiting, so you would think it would be done, but nope) Oh an let's not forget to mention that some poor lady was waiting behind the vaccine curtain for a shot for almost an hour with no one assisting her. Good luck Walgreens. I hope you improve your customer service and your auto-refill alert system. I personally won't be here to see it."
