Reviews of Point Bonita Trail
"Perfect location to enjoy the city skyline with the Golden Gate Bridge and watch beautiful sunsets."
"Great shirt trail to some of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge you can get. If it’s foggy you might not see anything though. There are pit toilets at the start of the trail and the trail itself if a bit steep but paved."
"Some of the best views of the GG bridge and the city as background. Lots of Spring flowers and very few people considering it’s so close to the city. Great walk and views, this historical piece of this area is super interesting. Not a lot of information on the actual site. Perfect place for a picnic or bike ride. Highlight of our trip, very different than the road to Sausalito!"
"Amazing views but it was only open for 3 hours. We didn’t know where you had to be to enter before it closed. It’s a long walk to get to the entrance. We missed it by 5 mins. It’s still an amazing view!"
"This trail was amazing. At times you're on the edge of a cliff and it feels like you're on the edge of the world. Everything is just so high up and everything looks so beautiful. Plus as a bonus there's some old military buildings along the path so those are fun to explore. I'd definitely go here again, and I'd recommend this place to anyone. Do being good shoes/gear because the trail is sketchy at times."
