"Went on queen of hearts Jun 11 2023 best day ever deck hands Eric and Braydon were amazing and captain was always on the fish"
"Had an absolutely amazing time! Best charter Boat Fishing you could ask for! The deckhand Erick was amazing, very friendly and super helpful. We caught a total of 31 King Salmon. Truly amazing, we'll definitely be going to Queen of Hearts again. They took care of everything including processing and cutting the salmon for us. We also saw a lot of whales while we were out there as well as seals. Why not catch some amazing fish while seeing such majestic animals. Truly can't say enough good things about our experience!"
"I meant to write this review over a month ago. My first time being out deep sea fishing and crabbing. The deckhand and the captain both were very knowledgeable and helpful. They made an awesome team and helped us all have a great time! I’m looking forward to going again. I would highly recommend them. I was thankful I wore my patch as the doctor prescribed and was able to not worry about sea sickness."
"Been meaning to write this view for a while. I've been on salmon charters with Wallie (skipper; sp. Walley?) + Eric (deckhand) twice now and have had a great time. Last trip was on Halloween where we landed a 24lb salmon! I would argue that your experience on the boat has the most to do with you, but both the skipper + the deckhand will do everything that they can to make it a positive one regardless (I'm looking at those of you who like to walk away from your poles for 30 minutes at a time). Both have eagle eyes when it comes to jumping on a fish on a line. I'm new to the area and have a habit of asking a ton of questions, some of which are probably silly, but the crew was more than happy to entertain them and I learned a lot about salmon fishing and other sorts around here. Eric even taught me how to setup the anchovies, though I butchered them fantastically. The skipper is proactive and knows what he's doing. The last trip we were out by SF and he was actively searching for areas with diving seabirds, bait balls, and the like. Rest assured that aboard this boat, the crew is doing what they can to land you that fish. That being said, sometimes it doesn't work out. When the bite is on, it's on. When it's not, it's not. But if / when you do land a salmon, chances are it will be well worth your time + money (my salmon basically paid for our trip given the price / lb for king salmon). If you decide to go on a trip, don't just go with the expectation of landing a fish. Be engaged, ask questions, and make the most of it. These folks are a great source of knowledge and are happy to help you however they can. Next on the list: hop on and ask a bunch of stupid questions on a rockfish / dungie combo trip! Oh, and leave the bananas at home."
"Professional deckhands and great fishing service. Very helpful despite many people having some snags under the boat and line tangles. Great day fishing 11/11/2019 with limits on both rockfish and crab + a bonus of a rock crab. I will come back for fishing in the future."
