Kyoto Sushi

"I'm disappointed I have to leave this review. I've been to this Kyoto years ago and the food and service was top-notch but... On my visit there tonight the food was subpar to say the least and having a server outright lie about food quality rather than bringing something palatable was too much to bear.. I will never eat here again."

"The food was excellent and there was plenty to choose from. They were also pretty kid friendly which was great. However, once they sat us they took forever to take our drink order, and there were only two or three other groups in there at the same time as us so it wasn't busy. We had to get up and ask for someone to come help us. Once they brought our drinks it took even longer before they took our food order. Then our food came and our waitress came back several minutes later asking something about the rice that we didn't understand. We told her that we thought we got everything we were supposed to have. Then she came back again later explaining we had gotten some rice that was supposed to go to a different table. That didn't inconvenience us much, but I'm sure the other table was wondering what happened to their rice - and again, it wasn't busy."

"The aesthetic of the place is fine. The food was not authentic tho. I just moved back from California and you can def tell everything was from the mix it flavor pack/freezer. The ramen especially was awful. The avocado in my roll was brown and bruised. At least they were well wrapped. The quality of food was not good. Definitely would not recommend. Also the waiter was nice but their nose was running and they kept wiping it on their hand. Won’t be coming back here and wouldn’t recommend it either."
