"today hiking over there from Howarth park. very very beautiful lake and good hiking! Not tired any more! I saw lots darks, quails, geese families go around together. That lake like a pearl is embedded in the green mountains.so quiet, so clean, so preaty, so rare! I love it so much! But before I arrived there, at rough go trail, I met a snake, about 5 feet, but after it found me, it crawled into the grass quickly. Maybe it is more afraid of me than I am of it. whatever, this is fun little trip. I'd like to come back again! Thanks God!"

"Beautiful scerene spot. Fun hiking up and just taking a breather at the top. Minus one star because I tried to swim in it and felt like a giant swamp monster was going to consume my soul. A but murky, super sinking mud, weird tactical plants, goodly warm algae, and some monstrous looking black dragonflies. But besides for the lake trying to consume my being while swimming, a truly beautiful spot."

"The trails can get a little beat up, but it’s such a gorgeous park. Enough trails you could go hike or bike all day long and never take the same trail twice."
