Reviews of Pucci's Pharmacy
"I moved to Sacramento 2.5 years ago. I am on several meds. I transferred from my pharm in Gilbert, AZ where I had been with CVS for 16 years. Never had an issue. I go with Pucci's, since it is close to my home. My father was a long time Pucci's customer and advised me not to use them. I did anyway. For the past 2.5 years, there has NEVER been a single month where I got all of my medications, all together at the same time. I have literally had to call back 5-7 times each month for a basic medicine regimen. Yesterday, I had to argue, loudly and vigorously with the owner Joel. It was not my first go around with him. He was super angry, inappropriate and further, blamed me for all of his pharmacy's mishaps with my meds. Me. He yelled at me, talked over me, argued loudly with me, was condescending and patronizing and otherwise was super unprofessional. So weird coming from a pharmacist. I have had to call my doctor numerous times and act as the intermediary over and over and over again with these folks. He tried to tell me that I was the only patient that he has had these issues with. LOL. Try again Joel. Have you read your own Google Reviews? The same or similar circumstances that I have experienced, have been experienced by others. Many others. Same comments about lack of customer service. How many times have I phoned this pharmacy and immediately been slammed on hold for 15 minutes without a proper greeting?Yesterday, I called three times, and all three times, I was thrown on hold for extended periods. Then the third time, a Pucci employee picked up my call and started discussing someone else's medications and PHI (personal health info) with me!I I wasn't even the patient in question. This is a HIPPA violation. Regardless, I parted ways with them today, and moved to a completely different pharmacy. Also, I love how Joel gets on Google and argues with reviewers. It's not a good look Joel. Any social media expert will tell you that if you receive bad reviews the LAST thing you want to do is argue with your customers, least of all online. I had poor experiences with every facet of this pharmacy every single month. I got my meds once a month. It became super annoying. And guess what? You don't blame your customers for your shortcomings. I have heard every excuse, we are short on people, xyz pharmacy has closed and we are inundated, we are trying to train people on the phones to be better. And on and on. I do not recommend them due to my personal experiences. I usually find a vendor and stay with them for many many years without issue. There was no way, that I could continue to be stressed out by the lack of competence. They ALL need training on Customer Service Techniques. Slamming your incoming calls on hold without even getting a chance to say a thing.....would be a good place to start. I should have just listened to my Dad, in the first place and saved myself a boatload of time, grief and anxiety. I personally would not recommend. Oh yeah....... take better care of your customers. Or you will find that you don't have any. :( Then As I expected…. The owner Joel hops on after my review and insinuates that I didn’t tell the full ll story of what happened when dealing with his pharmacy. The notes month after month are in my files there Joel copius notes on the many many many times my scripts were messed up. Balls dropped, etc. so go ahead. Gaslight me …… and imply that this situation didn’t actually happen the way it did. Just like you gaslighted me every time I spoke to you. You would better spend your time fixing the array of issues in your pharmacy than gaslighting your patients who express their concern at how they were treated."
"I’m so glad my partner directed me here, instead of one of those other “pharmacies.” As soon as I walked in, I was made to feel welcomed and looked-after. I love that I now have a local pharmacy filled with hard-working and caring professionals! Even other patrons (who were also waiting for their flu shots) were delightful and sweet! What a treasure of a place!"
"In these troubling times with pharmacies shutting down or having distributor issues, it’s a tremendous relief to have a place like Pucci’s you can rely on. Compliments and great appreciation for knowledgeable and caring pharmacists and a special shout out to Emily for her customer oriented skills, personality and follow up to resolve all concerns and potential issues. This is where you want to go, people."
"I was recommended this place by a friend and told how great they are. I walked in to ask some questions about travel vaccines. The woman at the counter was super friendly and went to consult the pharmacist to see if I needed a consultation since I’d already received one from PassPort Health. The guy in the back who I’m assuming is the pharmacist was super spicy! He came in hot and defensive in response to my questions. I felt very called out in front of the whole store. I work customer service and am polite to people who work any form of service. So I feel like his spicy response was uncalled for. I understand it’s not personal and sometimes people have bad days, but damn dude! I hope you reconsider how you respond to future customers if you want to keep them."
"My experience with Pucci’s has always been great - they are professional, respectful, and unwaveringly helpful with everything regarding prescriptions and vaccinations. I’ve had the pleasure of working mostly with Emily and Elena who are superstars - but everyone on staff is wonderful and friendly! BIG thank you to owners Clint and Joel for making Pucci’s one of the best pharmacies in Sacramento!"
