"Here's a typical interaction with this pharmacy: Dr sends Rx electronically to Vons pharmacy. Because of some hold the Rx does not get filled. The Rx just stays in limbo on the computer until customer calls (negating the convenience of electronic Rx). Customer gets rudely told that their Rx was on hold and will now be put "in the back of the line" even though their Rx has been sitting in their system for several days. If lucky, Rx gets filled by the next day. Or worse, pharmacy now realizes medicine is out of stock and they now put in an order for the medicine which means another 2-3 days of waiting. Meanwhile they are completely aloof and show zero concern that you will be out of your medicine for several days. Overall disorganized and rude customer service except for a couple of exceptions. I was patient with them, even after they gave my kid an adult version of Covid vaccine, didn't give us any paperwork and never followed up. The last straw was when I showed up 7 minutes until closing time to pick up meds that were already filled (takes 2 minutes to checkout) only to be lectured by pharmacist about how I shouldn't come in so near to closing time. Sorry I interrupted your time sitting on a stool staring into space doing nothing sir. Silly me I thought you were in the health CARE field (and well-paid for it). It felt like I was going into a McDonalds and putting in an order at closing time. Heck I've seen fast food joints run with more competent and caring customer service than this pharmacy."

"This pharmacy has a small, well-trained staff who are extremely helpful and pleasant. David in particular has provided superb customer service; he's the main reason I've kept coming back to this particular Vons pharmacy, even though I've moved farther away. The second reason is that it's fairly easy to actually get a hold of a live person by phone here. You don't have to spend 20 minutes going through electronic prompts, only to end up talking to some barely-trained person who is barely better than a robot and is unable answer your questions."
