Benihana

"Benihana offers a fun and delicious hibachi show. The waitstaff were kind, helpful, and sang happy birthday in two languages. Our chef Frederico was very personable and great at his job. Our group tried the hibachi steak, stream n’ meadow and colossal shrimp, which were all cooked perfectly. It’s quite loud, but worth it for the whimsy of the show."

"So I ate there on 1-7-24 and the chef came to clean the grill with his rag. The rim around the grill by the chefs side looked like it was detached and when he wiped over it with the rag some black stuff that I imagine was old food came out and ended up on the grill. He wiped it a few times, and black stuff kept coming out but when he was done wiping, there was a few little chunks of black stuff that stayed on the grill when he started cooking. When he was cooking the rice, it was pushed up against the crack where the black stuff came from and it kind of grossed me out. I did notice that many of the tables had the same gap that my table had so I am not sure if it's supposed to be there for cleaning purposes but I certainly didn't want what was in there in my food. I also noticed some fruit Flys or some kind of tiny bug flying around me while I was eating. I do want to say that every other experience I have had there was great, but not so much today."

"Dec 25th. Crowded and long wait with reservations. Chef was fun and entertaining. Holiday menu was very limiting although we understood. I would love to visit again on a different day so overall good. If you come on a holiday even with reservations, expect delays."
