Costco Pharmacy 101 North Beach Boulevard, La Habra, CA 90631

"I have had a wonderful experience at the Norwalk Costco Pharmacy but the drug I needed was back ordered so they suggested that I call some other pharmacies and they would then transfer the prescription. I tried calling the La Habra Costco and on my first attempt the phone rang, was picked up and placed on hold without a word being spoken. It cycled around and again when it rang, it was picked up and placed on hold without a word being spoken. After the fifth time, I called back and made a complaint to the manager because it seemed reasonable that they at least say "can you hold?" or speak before automatically placing the call on hold 6 times. She agreed. I am still looking for a pharmacy to fill my prescription so I called back today and the person "please hold" (improvement, right?) and then proceeded to pick up and press hold 3 more times without at word. It appears the La Habra Costco pharmacy has no phone etiquette."

"I appreciate the quick service but what i dont appreciate is being practically interrogated as to why i am back in with an RX when i was just there " a few days ago" which was actually 2 weeks ago. I explained that i saw my psychiatrist AGAIN (today) and was prescribed a higher dose and new meds as well as ample supply because i was going to be without coverage for a month. I was then told " we arent giving you the xanax since you just came in for this" all the pharmacist had to do was read the RX as my DR post dated it , again due to the fact that i will be without coverage for a month. I don't appreciate the interrogation whatsoever. As it is i have issues and am ashamed that i have to take so many meds to keep myself mentally stable. If i give you an RX, please just read it and get on with the processing.. The 100 questions just makes me feel like a junkie or someone abusing drugs.."

"Very disappointed with the pharmacists that continued to tell me my dr didnt send the prescription but my dr did multiple times...when I confronted them, the pharmacist said they texted me with this information. I checked my texts and found nothing of this order....this pharmacy did it to me a couple of times....shouldn't mess with people's medicine needs......"

"kind and friendly pharmacists--i get my Rx filled here when it is NOT covered by insurance--as they give you much better pricing than CVS. they'll even inform you of specials and generics. good service, high quality drugs."
