"2.14.24 I was charged for medication covered by my insurance! Having had hand surgery in this building, the Rx was sent here. Family picked up for me. Only recently I found out they were charged for it! Filing a complaint with the insurance company, I was informed I needed the Rx bottle plus the receipt in order to get my money back from this pharmacy! That was two weeks ago! Rx was only for few pain pills after surgery. I don't have that anymore. I do have Medicare, medi-cal and extra help insurance. I don't pay for my rxs! This pharmacy overcharged me and won't take responsibility for refund."
"Heed the reviews! They are awful. I started with a new doctor who sent my prescription to Pharmacy 90210 for a compounded medication. I have used another compounding Pharmacy in the past (LA Compounding), but thought I would give them a try. I picked up a 30 day supply of the medication, and was a bit surprised by the price ($375), but as it is a new medication I thought that must be why. I can submit to my insurance and get half covered, so I thought it would be OK. It took me several calls and email to get them to send over the information necessary to submit, but the pricing info was absent, even after I asked several times and sent over the form from my insurance. Fast forward to my next Dr. visit, when I asked why that particular medication was so expensive. He said "that seems unusually high." I had the same prescription sent to LA Compounding, who charged $135 for the same 30 day prescription, and validated that the $375 seemed really out of the ball park. They also said that their pricing was on par with the market. I called 90210 and asked to speak to a pharmacist - I thought perhaps they made a mistake. Nope. The pharmacist was rude, condescending, raising his voice and talking over me when I tried to say anything in reponse. I finally hung up. The gist of what he said that that is their price, and other pharmacies can charge what ever they want, which I suppose is true. They seem very disorganized and their prices are crazy. But the response of pharmacist was disrespectful, unprofessional and felt assaultive. Stay away. LA Compounding provides incredible customer service, they have fair pricing, and they don't yell at you."
"My review echos many others. This is a horrible pharmacy with terrible customer service. The manager is not open to addressing the concerns of his customers but rather makes excuses for the poor quality of service while berating his clients. They will ignore your order, not follow up and then yell at you when you address your issues. I will be working with my doctor to find another compounding pharmacy. No business with such disdain for it's clients deserves more business."
"I am giving this a 2* because PRIOR to the last few months, I have had many good years with this pharmacy- Otherwise, I would not give 2 stars. In the last year, the customer service is greatly lacking and the ability to communicate directly and effectively is NILL! It takes too much time to get my monthly prescriptions correctly delivered. I had a dispute with them and I spent 3 months calling and trying to work things out~ Sean did not take any responsibility and after 8 years as a loyal customer, it was sad to see his way of dealing with customer service. As a small business owner who relies on my cherished clients, it was most disappointing to experience 'their way'. Looking elsewhere..."
"Absolutely love this neighborhood pharmacy! Here's why... • WAIT TIME: Very little wait time if any. My average wait time is 10-15 minutes when i bring in the 2-3 scripts & waiting for them to be filled. And only 5 mins max. if I'm picking up a medication that I previously dropped off. • Rx AVAILABILITY: Medication is almost always (98% of the time) in stock and if not they'll have it the next day. • STAFF: Sean, the Pharmacist, and everyone else in the pharmacy are extremely friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. • LOCATION & PARKING OPTIONS: Located in Beverly Hills, on the corner of Linden and Wilshire Blvd. (1) Street access from Linden, which is a one-way street, with limited meter parking. (2) Additional metered parking (approx 50 spaces) in the 2-level parking structure on S. Santa Monica Blvd between Linden and Roxbury & its only a short block away. (3) There is also valet parking in the two adjacent & adjoining office buildings but the rates are fairly pricey. • ADDITIONAL AMENITIES/GOODS: - over-the-counter medications - vitamins & supplements - specialty: jet lag, motion sickness, etc. - beverages (coffee, juice, soda) & snack foods - hair & skin care: basic (i.e. Cetaphil) and premium (i.e. Murad) - makeup & other beauty items (i.e. tanning lotions) - gifts: Papyrus & other greeting cards, novelty books, stuffed animals, Voluspa candles, and much more! *** OVERALL: Highly Recommended! ***"
