"Overcharges and undercuts. $120 for a medication that’s $14 at CVS and won’t fill my entire other prescription (charges maximum though) leaving me feeling hopeless and suicidal!!!!! This almost ended in a tragedy if my doctor didn’t correct it 25 days later!!!!!!"
"My family has been using this pharmacy for over 20 years. We’ve never had an issue with it. John and his staff have always been professional and courteous. So I have no clue what these people with the one stars reviews on the site are talking about. It is a necessity for me to be on multiple medications and even when I don’t have my refills available to me THEY FIND A WAY to make sure that I get the medications that I need to function on a day-to-day basis. I have yet to find another pharmacy that’s willing to go that far with customer service. I wouldn’t change my pharmacy from Spring Park if you paid me too!!!"
"Very unprofessional. Overcharged for the medication cause it was a “pain killer” and the pharmacist told me THEY HAVE BEEN GETTING WATCHED BY THE DEA! And refused to transfer out my refills and then cancelled my refills and hung up in my face and when my doctor called them they did the SAMETHING TO MY DOCTOR!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN!! Most crooked pharmacy I have ever step foot in! Smh"
"About four months ago, it was raining when I left my doctors office. Instead of taking the bus to my usual pharmacy to fill my script, I dashed into Spring Park. Yes they filled it rapidly which was great. When counter girl handed me the script, I asked her what I owed. Her reply was nothing. Last week I had my usual pharmacy transfer the script to them. Spring Park informed them that I still owed them for the time they filled it. I was never billed by them nor was I billed by my insurance. What angered me as well as my usual pharmacy was the fact that they were spreading rumors about me owing them money. They acted totally unprofessional. They had my personal info...they could have contacted me directly. Yesterday I went in and paid them the money due. Let it be known that I also gave them a lecture and insisted they remove my info from their computer. I will never use this pharmacy again. If I could give this business a ZERO RATING, I would."
"If I could give Spring Park Pharmacy a ZERO star rating, I would. My sister and I went to Spring Park Pharmacy on December 19, 2014. My sister, Darlene, has chronic shoulder pain and had a pain medication prescription that was written that morning when she went to her pain management doctor. She gave the prescription to Junelyn, the young lady behind the counter. Unfortunately, the pain management doctor had forgotten to date the prescription. Junelyn told my sister that the prescription must be dated by the doctor. My sister and I took the prescription back, got it dated and returned to Spring Park Pharmacy within an hour with the original prescription which was now dated. Junelyn took the prescription to the pharmacist, John Ahn, and came back in a few minutes saying that the pharmacist didn't feel comfortable filling this prescription. "The printing on the prescription didn't match the signature," Junelyn said. My sister and I explained that the printing and the signature don't match because this pain management doctor has his staff write the prescription and he signs the prescription. We asked if they could just contact Dr. Gurskis whose name and phone number is printed on the prescription. We explained again that she just saw her doctor this morning and he indeed wrote the prescription. If you have any concerns, please call Dr. Gurskis and he will clear up any misconceptions. Junelyn said, "We can't do that." I then asked, "Could you please ask the pharmacist if he would call Dr. Gurskis if he had any concerns." She went and ask the pharmacist and he said, "I don't feel comfortable doing that." Please keep in mind that this pharmacy had no other customers in it at any time my sister and I were there! Tragically, my sister took her own life that very evening. I'm not saying that this pharmacy killed my sister. What I am saying is this pharmacy contributed to her mindset that some people would not help her. I was able to fill that same prescription at another pharmacy without any problem whatsoever, but by the time it was ready for pickup, my sister had already ended her life. The customer service and compassion of Spring Park Pharmacy is severely lacking! I've been to other pharmacies numerous times and they have contacted my doctor if they had any questions about my prescription. I simply don't understand why Spring Park Pharmacy wasn't willing to help. No one else was even in the store besides my sister and me! They could have taken a few minutes and called my sister's doctor and he would have been able to clear up any misconception or concerns they had regarding the prescription. Spring Park Pharmacy was simply not willing to help."
