"I've been through 5-6 different psychiatrists and Dr. Tanagho has been the best so far! She's very patient. She listens. She asks questions and is very engaging and willing to help you in your treatment. I don't know why they're so many negative reviews but she is 5 stars for me."

"Dr. Tanagho has saved my life - many times!!! She is compassionate, understanding, very knowledgeable, excellent listening skills and down right cares! She is frank and to the point, no BS. She never looks at the time because she is too busy listening, she gives me the time I need. Some days she is behind schedule, but I've always understood...if she gives me the time I need, then she is doing the same with previous patients that day. I would rather have her late, then to have her rush me. I have switched standard therapist many times for varies reasons, however, I have never changed my Psychiatric Doctor - Dr. Tanagho. She is my life line...without her in my life, I know I would be sinking with a heavy anchor to the bottom of the sea. If you need help and support, I would totally recommend Dr. Tanagho."

"I have been seeing Dr. Tanagho for several years now. Even though I have Kaiser insurance. I have seen several psychiatrists over the last 20 years and she is the best. she is kind and listens to me. she will adjust my meds if something is not working or stops working. I don’t understand all the bad reviews. If I went to see a Kaiser psychiatrist, which I have several times over the years, it would cost me only $5 co-pay. I choose to see Dr. Tanagho out of pocket because she is the best!"

"I've seen some of the negative reviews and I can't say I've had even remotely the same experience... I've found Dr. Tanagho to be kind, patient and a good listener. I go to her for ADHD/ADD treatment and she helped me explore different medications until I found one that was right for me. Didn't seem like a pill pusher and had me on very small doses so I could try out each med. The person who works the front desk also seems nice and I've never had any problems with her. Dr. Tanagho also does telehealth now which is very convenient. Not sure why people think she's mean or angry, but I like her."

"Dr. Tanagho is the best psychiatrist I've seen, and I've been through about five of them in 20 years. I found her very caring, a good listener and if I was in crisis, or had an emergency, she would call me promptly. She worked with me to find the right medications for my issues. I am with Kaiser now, and wish I had Dr. Tanagho back. One thing I agree with the other posters here is that the Front Office staff could be quite abrupt, but I give the woman the benefit of the doubt because she works alone and has to handle appointments, script renewals, insurance issues, busy phones, etc."
