Reviews
"Very nice staff, much more personable than dealing with pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens"
"Federal Drug has been a colossal disappointment. I believe in supporting independent stores and, generally, find the service better than big box formats. However, federal drug doesn’t even try to be competitive. 1. The pharmacy will not accept coupons and subsidies for prescribed medications. For example, prep meds for a colonoscopy when prescribed by cottage hospital should cost $50 but at Federal you pay $195. Redpath’s should cost $40 out of pocket but at Federal drug it’s $95. Given the widespread promotional activity in the pharma space this inevitably means that you are materially paying more for routine medications. 2. Store hours are limited. It you need a prescription filled at 2.30 on Saturday afternoon, want to pick up at 8.15am or after 6pm, tough luck. 3. Unlike other pharmacies, you need to call each month to reorder. Sometimes they have stock, sometimes not. Such a shame."
"Thank you so much. You've helped me more than you probably know. If I end up moving to Santa Barbara I will happily fill my prescriptions here. God bless."
"Where you can get your prescriptions and anything medically related. The pharmacist wasn’t a people’s person for my liking"
"This pharmacy ripped me off. I needed a prescription that my Dr told me was only available in a couple of locations in the area. They ran my insurance and said that it wasn't covered (which I was expecting) and charged me $95. I went to Costco to fill the same prescription this month. They ran my insurance (no change in coverage), and found that the same drug was covered, charging me $10 co-pay."
