"We had a cedar fence put in. We were surprised at the price, but they were the best quote we could find and recommended by our neighbor. The estimate was smooth and good communication throughout the process. Our main concern was getting the fence in before the ground froze which they did. Work was done in 1 day with no mess. We spotted a split board as they wrapped up which they immediately replaced. Great experience!"

"We have had issues with two of the gates since the installation was first completed. The gates were installed unplumbed and continue to sag. The hinges were installed at the limit of their stops, no concrete was used to stabilize the posts, the gates sag so much to the point where it is difficult for my wife to even open them. Two guys came out shorty after the install to look but nothing was ever done about it. Now they want $350.00 just to come out and give us an estimate to fix them. Shameless hacks, and apparently, I am not alone in these sentiments. The pictures tell just how far off these things are. It is people like this that give contractors a bad name."

"Beware! They are happy to take your money for a fence, but do not stand behind it. After the recent storms we had some damage to our fence (that they installed) and called them to get an estimate to repair it. We were told that they do not repair fences. This is beyond un acceptable. It seems ever since they moved in with the Bruce Company their customer service has gone down hill. The Bruce Company has always had a good reputation, I hope they stop tarnishing the Bruce Company's reputation."

"I had a Struck & Irwin fence installed in my backyard. It started flopping over within a few years. Called to get repairs done. The receptionist said they would get back to me right away. They never replied. Called again. Never replied. Called again. Never replied. I just talked to a contractor today who told me that the fence is of low quality, with thin wood and poor quality nails. I'm getting the Struck & Irwin Fence ripped out and a new one installed. Struck & Irwin is less expensive than other companies, but their work does not last very long."

"I had 183' of 4' chain link fence installed by S&I. Their bid came in $1000 less than Quail Line, they were flexible and professional when there were a few last minute changes (caused by me). The fence appears to be quality and the instal looks professional. I am very happy with the job. The only thing I had an issue with was initial communication, I wanted my fence installed during the busy season (early June) and had to advocate for myself to get on their calendar, I got cell phone numbers and followed up multiple times. So if you don't hear from them, go with "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" theory. It worked for me."
