"So far we are not impressed and have some concerns. As some of you mentioned, you can’t get a human to answer the phone. I’ve been trying g to reschedule my daughters onboarding and for THREE months, suddenly no apts available and we are expected to pay our $1200.00 quarterly fee and she has not even started. This is the SECOND pmt due. Can get a person on the phone or a return call - it’s been 3 days… sat on hold this morning for 35 minutes and after hearing one minute longer it disconnected. Not happy!"
"We're 8 visits down and 20 left to get to FOOD FREEDOM! We're so grateful we started this when my son was 3 years old. The daily work can be exhausting, especially with a picky eater. We just push forward and get it done. When my son is done with the program, I hope to be able to donate funds so others can also experience food freedom. We like that most of the foods are introduced in a gummy form. That makes dosing a lot easier. We like the routine of the appointments, we know exactly what to expect. We like that there are multiple facebook groups that we joined to get support from the allergy community. For us it's been totally worth it. We're seeing results, and we're inching closer to FOOD FREEDOM. We're looking forward to them expanding to the bay area in 2024. We're also getting accustomed to the updated website where we submit our questions/concerns, and get a reply back usually within 24 hours. Serious questions seem to get answered much quicker."
"Absolutely the WORST. Spent lots and still can’t get records or a human to answer questions that arose when we couldn’t get Slit in Covid. Honestly never have such a negative experience with a medical provider. They are unavailable. Like completely."
"We used this program for a short period in hopes that it was the answer. It felt great and all at first, but few red flags: my kid was already eating certain foods and the tests came back stating she should back off some foods due to their strategy so we complied. My kid is very low on the allergy scale in the grand scheme of most kids and they told me my kid would be on this program for FIVE years, while reading that some of the less-allergy prone kids could finish in as early as 18 months. I saw this is a huge money-grab but we continued until we realized our child was beating milestones on their own. We cancelled and now we owe the clinic a huge bill, insurance reports back errors on their part, they billed me for things i wasnt notified about, my insurance declined their $10,000 blood test...you read that right. The clinic has good reviews so im not denying they know what theyre doing but i also am in belief they are overcharging to the MOON because when parents become desperate for help, they will bend over backwards at any cost. A good alternative is try Kaiser or larger hospitals who also offer this type of food dosing strategy at pennies on the dollar vs this place. If you plan to leverage this service, do so at your will as I did but be very careful on the things listed above. I am currently having a third party resource look into their billing practices"
"We are incredibly grateful we found this program for our kid who is allergic to peanuts, dairy, eggs, and some tree nuts. We are a little over 1.5 years into his treatment (about 2 years to go) and he is already eating so many more foods. I know this program can be confusing to some but the reality is.. it works and is way safer and more effective than any other treatment options like OIT. We are a family of healthcare professionals and what Dr. Randhawa has done for all these children and the food allergy community at large is absolutely incredible. The freedom, safety, and life he is giving back not only to the food allergy kid but the whole family is invaluable. Does this program have its challenges… sure… but what’s even more challenging is living a life full of deadly food allergies. Even tho we still have a little ways to go we can already breathe a little easier knowing our child is that much safer because of this program. And one day… his allergies will be in remission and we will all fly free."
