"Got no care. Terrible and totally incompetent administration. Was insulted by the doctor, then charged multiple times for the same appointment I already paid for. The front desk was incapable of even checking if they accept my health insurance. And once when I was 10minutes late I called in to let them know, was told over the phone I had a 20minute grace period, and when I arrived found out they'd just gone ahead and cancelled my appointment. There is no communication between their different departments. Total scam company that is only interested in collecting your money and not providing any health care."

"This Optum location is a scam. I found this company on a list that my health insurance provided as a health facility that I can go to. So, I called and they seemed confused like they never heard of my health insurance company, but the lady claimed she found it and said she'll send me through some onboarding process and scheduled me for an appointment. I never received any email or text about my upcoming appointment, so I gave up hope with Optum. I forgot when my appointment was since I asked for a text reminder, but never got one. The day of my apparent appointment arrives and the doctor calls me! Saying she's been trying to reach me for my appointment! I explained to her that I never received any follow up or did an onboarding process, but she went ahead and continued to ask me questions on why I wanted to see her. A few months go by and I needed to schedule another appointment. So, I called and the lady on the phone scheduled me. I arrive on the day of my appointment and the lady at the desk said I don't have insurance. She said I NEVER had insurance (I had insurance the first time for my first appointment). So I left in frustration, but then turned back and asked her why no one notified me. She then tells me "Oh, I forgot to tell you too that you were charged for your first appointment." WHAT!!! Why am I just now hearing about this! I called last week and talked to someone to schedule this appointment and they didn't tell me about this mystery bill nor that I don't have insurance! My doctor called me for my appointment months ago and didn't tell me I don't have insurance! NO ONE CONTACTED ME AND YET THEY STILL SCHEDULED ME! Yet, when I go to the dentist or Eye doctor they always call me about issues with my insurance before my appointment! I ended up talking to one of their employees in office and over the phone the next day and it's interesting that no one wanted to own up to how no one in OPTUM notified me, the patient, that they didn't have my insurance on fill, that I would have to pay for the service out of pocket, and that I now own money because of their incompetence and lack of communication to that patient! Optum is a joke and the way they do business is a scam in the health care industry. They take advantage of you, waste you're time, and hit you with a bill and say it's your fault for not knowing. A Joke and a scam!"

"I don't do much reviews because I normally let little things go. However, what Optum did was just too much. I recently switched insurance provider but I wanted to be loyal to the company after being 18 months with them. Loyalty doesn't mean much to Optum. The usual flow was blood draw today May 10th and then annual physical a week after May 17th. I fasted and then showed up at 9AM to find out that my appointment for blood draw was never booked even though annual physical was in for May 17th their system. Even MORE comical was the receptionist said that I did have a blood draw appointment on JANUARY. Instead of offering to squeeze in a 5 minute blood draw the same day, I was told to go home and then come back another day and fast again, of course. Please do yourself a favor and double to make sure OPTUM have your appointment correctly written down. Otherwise, you will waste your night and day planning for something that will never happen. Worse yet, your medical need is MORE severe than my annual blood test and NOT be seen on time due to delay or negligence on Optum's part. For me, I went home to look for a provider and will NEVER come back to OPTUM."
