"It’s the best insurance around for the price. And thanks to Alexander I was able to find the most affordable options for me."
"Caught the bus round-trip last week. I was late for my bus in the morning. Guy gave me a break and put me on the next bus. Cheaper and less hassle then driving by yourself."
"Traveler beware. DO NOT purchase a round-trip ticket from the LA area to Tijuana Airport. You can be dropped off at the airport but NOT picked up. And when you call their supposed customer service, they pretend to not know how it's possible that you have a round trip ticket as they do not ever depart from the airport and moreover, make no suggestions or offer any assistance for you to get from the airport to the border. Turns out, only 1 or 2 bus/transport services actually take you from TJ Airport into California... and Fronteras del Norte are NOT one of them. Additionally, if you purchase your ticket online, you will be charged more than the actual ticket is worth. Best to buy one way only if you must travel with them from LA area to TJ, and purchase over the phone rather than on their site. Thirdly, DO NOT go by their schedule as they don't adhere to it either. We picked up the bus from Compton with a supposed 3 hour transit time, only the bus actually took 6 hours! We were supposed to leave around 1225pm, and arrive by 3:30pm. Instead, we arrived by 630pm and narrowly made our flight, albeit we had to run from the drop off point to our terminal. Since their drop off point is the first spot where drop offs are allowed- not further in where all the taxis are. Also, when they say there is a transfer, they mean you get off their large bus at San Ysidro, and then board a shuttle bus with a driver that has to drive like a demon to get you to the airport - maybe because he knew how delayed our bus was- and you STILL have to pass a border inspection where you get off the shuttle- pay your non Mexican resident fee and have your bags xrayed, and then you get back on the same shuttle at a further pick up point. Overall, it was a very stressful and unnecessary experience that was exasperated by callous staff."
"If you want to go to Los Angeles then this is a good option with flexible schedules and good prices (The bus I took, broght me to Huntington park which is so close to DTLA). The quality of the bus I was traveling in was OK. Once in my destination The uber charged me about $12USD to DTLA."
"The representative Macario Lopez was so unprofessional and disrespectful to my mother. As he raised he's voice at her. Gave us wrong poorly instructions on where exactly wait for our bus. That error made us wait one hour and a half more. To people that is tired and exhausted from a long trip. This is so unprofessional. The bus stop is at the back of the building and you should wait for you bus behind the building as well."
