"I had purchased marble from a local supplier and had it sent to a local fabricator. Long story short, our previous fabricator had too much going on to complete our large job at this time. That fabricator didn’t touch the stone. Nothing was cut. It literally sat in storage. I called Designs in marble to see if they’d be able to take our stone from another fabricator that’s not been touched and measure, cut, place, etc. Initially, I was told yes. I did ask to tour their fabrication facility before we decide to reward them the job which Patti said she could arrange. I received a call today stating that unless I RETURN my stone and let them repurchase they weren’t interested in my job. I was told that marble can be compromised and they didn’t want to be “held responsible if my pieces were defective, etc. “. Trying to meet them halfway, I suggest they have me sign a release stating they won’t be held responsible if the material is compromised, poor quality, etc. They STILL didn’t want my money. Looks like this economy is still too good and/or this place has a HUGE markup on stone. Be aware!!!"

"Customer service is lacking! Expect rude, and snotty replies to any questions or concerns. Our sales lady Patty was pleasant and helpful in the purchasing process. The instal guy James arrived late, and was very rude. When the Slab didn't fit properly and we we contemplating 2 options he stated, "I'd like an answer soon, I wanna get home today." This comment came after he arrived an hour late, and was angry our sink didn't fit easily. He rushed, did not secure the Slab and costed me another day off work to have a second crew come to fix everything. They were wonderful! When we called Patty to discuss the poor work, she seemed uninterested and bothered. Pushing us off on the install supervisor, who was helpful and fixed the concerns. Payment: I never received a bill, being a honest person I reached out to Patty. Was told she'd have the billing resend to this address. Sue then sent a sparky email: "It’s odd that you haven’t received the invoice. QB shows that your email has viewed this invoice as recently as 8:09 this morning. At any rate, will you please confirm that you’ve received this invoice from me?""

"Very disappointed in this company. Never showed up on the day they were expected plus never got a call. We were not happy with the caulk job on the countertop and they have not been back to fix it. Very dissatisfied with this company. Do not recommend at all!"

"If you can hire anyone else - do it! While this company seems helpful on the front end of a job, they do not stand behind their work. Designs in Marble installed a flammable quartz backsplash behind my range even though they had participated in the kitchen plan and were aware of the appliance selections. As a consumer, you rely on the expertise of the professionals and i feel totally misled. Now, I have a backsplash that is burned and cracked and they refuse to replace it. I think these guys are great when they are in “selling mode” but are completely unreliable after they cash your check. Beware!"

"My husband and I had been trying to figure out our tile selection in the master bath for months before Designs in Marble was mentioned to us. We met with Kyle and were very impressed. Kyle had a keen eye for design, patterns, and how it would flow together in our bathroom. He let us explore, but also guided us to certain tile to consider. He was very personable and never made us feel rushed even when we went past closing. He was AWESOME. We would highly recommend. It was a great experience. Our builder currently works with another vendor for tile, but we were so impressed with our experience that we plan to reach out to our builder and recommend that they send their clients to Designs in Marble."
