Reviews of Sierra Vista Urgent Care
"Terrible service closes at 4:30 but you must arrive before 1pm so they can serve you because the wait is more than 3 hours, the other person who was there on her phone was very comfortable laughing, but never approached or took a minute of her time to call someone to help me, when the reception finally arrives it seems she doesn't have a bit of empathy nor does he turn to look at you, she just tells you we can't help and that's it, go to the hospital. IT MAKES NO SENSE THAT IT IS URGENT CARE when they don't care about their patients, the lady who treated me is called "Juana Marta Martinez""
"Waited for 5 hrs because they only staff one doctor on the weekdays apparently. Finally saw the doctor and was prescribed an inhaler for my bronchitis. When I went to the pharmacy turns out they didn't even send in the prescription and I needed to go in AGAIN and wait another 2-3 hrs to get what I needed. As many have said this place is a waste of time."
"Intolerable medical group that stops checking in patients at 3:56 when they clearly close at 430. These type of people should not be in the medical field especially if they try to get “out of work” on time. When in reality they’re job requires more than that. They need to understand when people show up it’s because they need them to help otherwise why would people show up to waste their time. I say fire all the front staff that “checks in” people. The lady at the front just gave excuses saying they’re at capacity when there were only 2 other patients waiting. Regardless of the fact this facility isn’t doing their job right and should be reported to the bureau of Human Resources."
"For a "Medi-Cal" -patient focused facility its pretty nice to have an urgent care available instead of going to the ER. While I understand some get frustrated with the long wait times during peak illness weeks, they need to also understand that this is a Medi-Cal office....meaning they don't have the budget other offices do to be able to facilitate more staff to accommodate the onslaught of patients that come in when there is only one doctor on-call at the urgent care. Even if you don't think anyone is there when you don't see anyone in the waiting room, they could have patients in the exam rooms with the physician meeting & examining each patient one at a time. You wouldn't want the doctor to rush through yours or your child's exam would you? This is why it takes a long time. Give the staff a break, they're underpaid & overwhelmed. They don't get paid much by state insurance. Patients that have better insurance wouldn't be going here anyway. You're all in the same boat....its a nice and clean facility that is well maintained and the staff really does do their best to try not to spread viruses & illnesses that walk through the door. Have some patience & have a wonderful day!"
"I came into the office at 6:03 PM because of a medical issue that made it hard for me to eat or brush my teeth. The front desk told me right away that the doc had seen many patients today and is with the last patient now. That, they cannot see me today because they close at 6:30 and need to leave on time. My question is, if you stop seeing patients at 6:00 PM, then why do the hours on the website say open “9AM-6:30PM”. Just change it to 6 PM, so patients who are in pain and are expecting to be seen aren’t turned away for the sake of the comfort of the staff."
