"I don't know anyone in this area, so after reading these reviews went with Chelsea as realtor. I lived about 7 hours away, so I asked Chelsea to look at a home I was interested in. She supposedly went and looked at it, and said it appeared to be in okay shape. Chelsea offered to do a video walk through of the home, but never actually followed through on that offer. Chelsea recommended some professionals in the area to do home, pest, and plumbing inspections. Chelsea and the professionals all said the house was basically fine, just needs a few repairs, some updating and "TLC". So, I bought it. Turns out it was an old, rat-infested smoker/hoarder house. The smell is almost unbearable, even after soaking the entire home interior with layer of Kilz. Neither Chelsea nor the professional home inspection guy advised me of the smell or overall condition of the home. In fact, the home inspection person, Joel Haraldson of Redwood Coast Inspections, told me almost nothing about the house. I later showed his inspection report to a local contractor, who laughed and said "get your money back." I wish. The recommended septic system pressure test was performed by Woods Plumbing on a system that had no sewer pipe cap. Pest inspection by Home Network Pest Control did not inform me the property has termites. Termites. I paid $1,400 for professionals, recommended by my realtor, to advise me of the home's condition, and I was not informed of any of it. Rats, termites, and stench. I realize purchasing a home, sight unseen other than a few bad photographs, is pretty stupid. I should have made the 7 hour drive, but I trusted this realtor and the professionals. My mistake. So, I am posting this review in the hopes of helping someone else avoid this situation. Buyer definitely beware with this company."
