"Nice little cafe style Asian restaurant. They have a good variety of food available and it is at a fair price for the quantity. It seems to be set up to be a takeout style restaurant. They have comfortable seating and was very clean. The customer service was very friendly as well. I would recommend them for carryout and quick and easy."

"It is typical of what one would expect from a Chinese restaurant. I’ve been to Asian Express multiple times and always had a good experience. The menu items are what is expected for this type of establishment and offers a wide variety of options as well as lunch specials. A majority of customers do take out. Every time I visited and ate in, I was the only customer, but that doesn’t matter in the big picture. The lobby/seating area is always clean and inviting along with classic Asian decor. Their food is always hot and freshly made to order. Some other reviewers mentioned delays in take out. I’ve noticed that once, but it was during peak order time (4-6pm). I would much rather wait for better quality product made to order and not fret over an extra ten minutes- life is too short- and it’s worth the wait. The staff is always very friendly and enjoyable to interact with, and it is great to support a local family business. They recently came out with a Teriyaki Chicken meal that would be comparable to Sarku Chicken one would see in the Mall. I ordered one with double meat and the portion was enormous. It easily fed my wife and I. The egg rolls were crisp and tasty as well. (See photos) Overall it is a nice establishment for a quick meal to stop in or carry out- just remember to give yourself a little extra time when busy and enjoy the goodness of the people and cuisine."

"We always go here and get the chiken tereyaki...and its delicious but this rime the chiken tasted lile fish and it was undercooked it didnt habw any vegaetables at all. When we told the lady she said next time ask for your chiken well cooked?? But anyways I got food poisoning.."

"Best Chinese food in Portage. I ordered the chicken fried rice and pork dumplings. My wife chose the orange chicken. It was pretty good. The prices are a little high for the area. The service staff is very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Food was prepared quickly. We'll be back here for more :)"
