"1ST shipment was held in FedEx truck for a week due to weather. No fault on Fruitshare's part. Initial e-mail about status of order ignored. 2nd e-mail about several of the prices of fruit being spoiled (frozen and thawed?) -ignored. This week, I sent a 3rd email with a question about my signing up for delivery every 3rd week, 4 weeks after the last shipment, ignored! Not one single response to my 3 inquiries! Then, when I try to call, I get sent to a voice mail box that is full...I can't even leave a voicemail! Beyond the pale! If you expect responsiveness, this is not the fruit club for you. I am cancelling, and am going to give Harry and David a try."
"I searched for a fruit delivery subscription and this company was one of several that came up. I clicked on the page and saw they had Bi-Weekly or Monthly delivery options and you could choose from half share or full share. I decided to go with the bi-weekly full share. I was excited when just a few days later my first order was delivered. That’s where my excitement ended. The box was small and I remembered from the pictures that the full share appeared much larger. Upon opening the box, I see that all I got were apples (4 to be exact) and some orange varieties adding up to only about 15 pieces total. I checked the website and it says a full share should be 24-30 pieces. Also, the newsletter included says my box should have had pears. So I email their customer service and explain my findings/questions. FIVE DAYS later after another email asking for someone to please contact me, I finally get a reply. First, I’m told that they ran out of pears so that’s why I didn’t get any. Then I’m told that I ordered an exclusive box and accused of using some “code” to order said box. After looking into it, it does appear that my subscription box was labeled “3M” but when I placed the order nothing on the page explained that 3M was only for 3M employees and no code was required for my purchase. I have since canceled my subscription because I would’ve had to pay an additional $20 every 2 weeks and to only get apples and oranges it wasn’t worth it in my opinion. Be careful if you decide to use this company because after my experience and reading Yelp reviews it looks like the customer service is not the best."
"Our family receive a box of deliciousness every two weeks - the best of what's in season. We are happy to have quality fruit, delivered to our door. It's easy, it's healthy, it's perfect! Also, FruitShare donates excess fruit to Valley Outreach, the local food shelf where I work. It's terrific to offer high quality produce to clients who want their family choices to be as healthy as yours or mine. Awesome way to give back, FruitShare!"
"I've been signed up for the Farm Fresh Fruit Club for over a year and a half now and am so pleased with this company and their fruit that I felt the need to write a review. Signing up for this club was one of the best things I've done for the health of my family. The fruit that is delivered by Fruitshare is better than any other fruit I've found. It is sweeter (you'd swear they inject the fruit with sugar) and more flavorful than anything I've found at the local grocery stores, including the organic stuff. I've never even had a bruise on any of the fruit I've received. It is also noticeably fresh. Days from harvest versus weeks (or months). For anyone considering ordering fruit from Fruitshare, I would not hesitate. While buying all organic fruit is certainly more expensive than traditional store-bought fruit, I feel the investment is well worth it. Your health and the health of your family is one area worth investing. I offset the cost by not buying other prepackaged type snacks. It's awesome having fresh fruit available for the kids at all times."
"I was absolutely DELIGHTED (and very surprised) to receive an organic fruit gift box delivered right to my door. What a thoughtful gesture from a business associate! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! The fruit was protected very well and every piece of fruit was picture perfect. We enjoyed several weeks of the most delicious apples, pears, kiwi's and oranges that I have ever tasted. And it was so good to know they were all ORGANIC, free from pesticides and other toxins. FruitShare Organic Fruit Gift Boxes will definitely be at the top of my list of gift giving ideas in the future."
