"My girlfriend ordered a book shaped cake for our roommates birthday. She had wanted pages from the book “A court of silver flame” edible imaged onto the cake, which the decorator said she could do. When my girlfriend dropped off the pages to be edible imaged, she warned them it was a pretty raunchy scene of the book, and if they couldnt do it for any reason to call her and she would bring in more appropriate pages to be put on the cake. The decorator looked over the pages real quick and said it should be fine and that was that. Well when she picked up the cake today, the pages were not edible imaged onto the cake, and she was told its because the decorator and store manager decided it was too offensive, to which my girlfriend was obviously pissed considering she had not received a phone call from them. Another baker that was there told my girlfriend that he had been there when the decorator had tried to call her, that her phone was disconnected or maybe the number was written down wrong, which both statements are false. My girlfriends phone has been on the whole time since she ordered the cake a few weeks ago, and the number was written correctly. My girlfriend had no missed calls, and no voicemails at all regarding the cake, and they had ample time to call and get her to bring in new pages. My girlfriend agreed to the 50% discount the bakery manager offered her because she was insistent on having at least the book shape still, but I personally wouldn’t have paid a dime for the cake, and bought something pre made from walmart. It would have looked better. We will never be ordering another cake from Cub Bakery unless Andy is present to make the cake."

"Roads are bad lines are bad parking is bad my feet are bad my receipt is off a buck and they told me because the price of the item changes the next day they can only do a refund today. Only if I come back today.we spend more than 100 bucks a week there lol. They fixed the problem with me but left the price messed up for another week and a half before they fixed it."

"What started out as a horrible morning has been fixed by Andy in the bakery. After being horribly let down by the bakery at Target (they never entered my order from 6 days ago into the system so I didn’t have a cake for my sons birthday) and being turned down for last minute help at Walmart and Hyvee (understandable), Andy went above and beyond. I walked in, plead my case and he said “give me 25 minutes” and he was done early! Thank you Andy for saving my morning and my son’s birthday!"
