"So this place is kinda all over lol. 3 stars for labs - I’d give labs a 3 stars. Typically 10 mins to an hour or more depending on the day you go. The issue is it’s next to Urgent care so there’s always some confusion of the line. The doors open up right into the check in. There is typically always a line. The person yelling your name is never loud enough so stay close cause they say it twice an then move on. They also bill separately from John Muir. The first time they took payment an then deducted my bill from it. You can decline payment an tell them to bill your insurance. It’s a really weird system. I’ve never seen this before. 4 stars pediatrics - I would give 4 stars to the pediatric section as their staff is amazing an overall it’s a great place. I’ve had one issue with a doc telling me how to parent my child and I requested to never see them again. The docs are here to help for the issue I come in for not tell me how to convince my child to wear a mask. 5 stars urgent care. I would give 5 stars for urgent care an the on call nurse. They have always fit us in for emergencies and have always been kind. I have always felt confident leaving knowing we are well taken care of. Even during Covid. 1 star for billing - if you see a resident who’s being over seen by an actual doctor. Instead of paying just your copay…you will also be charged for speciality billing in addition. So a typical $10 charge. Turned into a $45 charge. 4 stars for regular docs PCP. Only issue is they dislike emails. I was with Sutter health an was able to email my doc regularly for info an questions about my health. Any email I send here to my doc they immediately ask for an apt. Which is a copay again. But between Kaiser an John Muir. After 15 years of Kaisers retroactive care. John Muir is 100% an upgrade. But I would also choose Sutter health in dublin over this place. The other John Muir locations may be better. I am not sure."

"Not happy with J. Muir tests. I was in midst of Covid-19 attack with 102 to 103 F Temperature for over a week, headache, and 9 out of 10 symptoms and in generally a bad state. Went to scheduled Muir drive-up for testing along with my spouse. Both returned negative! Can't believe it! Then I recalled the Muir test procedure......nose swab, sealed samples in plastic bags with identification attached, ID info entered into computer terminal on table located outside at test site. THEN....bagged samples were placed in thin styrofoam box about a cubic foot in size....Box was on the ground in front of the table....IN THE DIRECT HOT SUN!!!.......and it was 89.6 degrees air temperature at the time!!! Wonder why the tests came out negative? My guess is virus samples did not survive the heat! Muir needs better test protocols and just good sense!"
"11/11/14 A couple of months ago my husband and I decided to start growing our family of two. Well, family of four if you count our two cats, but... it's really just us two. We're working on having a baby and I wanted to make sure I'm as healthy as possible before I begin caring for a mini! My new doctor referred me to the Lab at this new JMH location and I stopped in on my way to work on Friday morning. At 9 a.m. there were a lot of people waiting ahead of me to give their blood to the lab. I walked out after hearing there was a 30 minute wait, but then returned and sat anxiously thinking about needles for exactly 30 minutes. They were on time and I was happy the wait wasn't longer than I was expecting it to be. The staff behind the urgent care counter was less professional than the ladies at the check-in for the lab. Four women gabbed loudly about one of their new hair color and her new iPhone. Perhaps I wasn't in the best mood because I was scared about the blood work, but it seemed really unprofessional to sit and loudly talk in front of a room full of patients. Don't you have work to do? Eduardo called my name and led me to a back room and immediately I felt the blood drain from my face. He noticed it too and asked if I was okay. He had me turn away and tied off my arm before tapping on my terrified veins. I barely knew that he had filled all the vials when he was bandaging me up. I bruise really easily and last time I gave blood my arm bruised really badly. No bruise this time! Very gentle and kind and patient with my fear. I hope I don't have to go back any time soon, but if I do, I hope I get him to do all of my needle work."
